Q: Wow! I see most people like this vacuum, but ones who hate it, really hate it. I'm still on the fence. Is it worth the bother? Price is right!

I would not hesitate on buying this I have long haired cat and dogs and kids this is the best vacuum investment I made. I bought my first in 1985 and lost it in a divorce, imagine that having a just dge decide who gets the vacuum! Bought second in 1996 and it died when I sucked up screws but forgot to put a bag in it, totally my fault, I bought my last one a few years ago. Easy to Cary around to do dusting, vacuum the car, do furniture and stairs. The suction is amazing. I will say that pens and pencils will not go through but just turn it off and shake handle they fall right out. I have dropped down cellar stairs and it didn't break. Bags are inexpensive too.

Q: One reviewer mentioned that it scratched the hardwood floors. Has anyone else had problems with scratches? New floors; don't want them ruined.

We have a cleaning business and 99.9% of all of our homes have hardwood floors. All my teams use this vacuum and in 6 years it has never scratched a floor. This is our most popular tool. So many of our owners have bought one for their own use. Couldn't live without it!

Q: i some 1 1/4 inch carpet nozzles (not eureka) here on amazon. will they fit the hose on the mighty mite?

Your 1 1/4" carpet nozzle should fit the Mighty Mite wand but not the hose. The Mighty Mite hose is 1 1/16".
