Q: what is the scent ratio when making candles

I use scent cubes usually and it takes one scent cube to properly scent a whole pound of the wax. If using Essential oil, I would suggest 1 to 2 ounces per pound of soy wax but I would go with 1 ounce first. If too much scent is added the candles wont burn properly if they burn at all. With 1 ounce my candles smelled great with a perfect burning rate. Just remember to remove the wax from the heat source before adding the scent because continued heat after adding the scent to the wax will cause the scent to evaporate. You probably already know this, I am only being helpful and making sure you do.
