When I ordered this case, I got a totally different one, It is very disappointing because when I ordered I did expect to to receive exact one which was on the pic X-level brand, and I received a totally different brand. Moreover, the case suppose to be plane, smooth, but it has some stripes and drawings. I’m really unhappy with my order!!!

The reason I am bothering to write this review is for the most bothersome quirk of this case. Out of all 10,000+ cases on Amazon, I settled for this one. Ten dollars, so I figured it should hold up.It was alright at first, but then the soft rubber coating around the case started peeling. While this doesn’t affect functionality, it’s enough to drive me bonkers. I spend a rather hefty (for a cheap rubber case) ten bucks, I expect it to not peel and leave little black snowflakes in my pocket and have curly sprigs coming off of it when I look at it.This brings me to the second bothersome feature: the company puts a small raised bump on the backside of the case to advertise themselves as the manufacturer. Just a slight irritation, though it does nothing to affect the case itself.However, returning to the first complaint: for ten dollars, I expected better. This being said, I have found better cases at Goodwill- for two, sometimes three dollars. And this was even right after the iPhone X released! I’m happier with my thrift store case, and while this one did it’s job for the few weeks I used it, I won’t be buying from this company again.

For style only, your $1,000 phone won’t be protected nor will you have a grip on your phone. This thing is gripless, equilivent to baby powder on your case. The camera and screen sit flush with the case and will more than likely scratch or break if dropped.

Seriously - Why is it so hard to find a simple and sleek yet protective case like this one? It feels so great in the hand and fingerprints are not a problem with it. I got the purple color and it is definitely like a wine color with a bit of frosty effect, but i would not say it is feminine - just classy and simple. The case feels smooth and SLEEK yet not slippery in your hand. I would like a case like this with even more protection - simple design and a variety of color options. I have a black phone and the translucent colors that other cases offer don't work at all with it. I really wish now I had gotten the silver phone to increase my case options. What is UP with all the glitter and floating glitter cases lately - yikes! Give me classic colors. I want my phone to stand out if it is on a counter or if God-forbid I drop it in the grass at a kid event.

Originally I bought this as a temporary case before I could get a "nice" one, and eventually realized that I like it just fine. Now I've had it since the XS came out and I'm pretty impressed by the durability considering that was well over a year ago! Ten bucks for more than a year of use? Yes please, that works.If you don't want a thick case and don't feel the need for extra grippy protection, this case is great. I personally just want a case that distinguishes my phone from my husband's phone at a glance, and something that I can use with a separate stand/loop/ring device of some sort. This one fits well, feels good, and is exactly what I need. (I got the wine/purpley red color and it's lovely-- not too bright, just enough for personality.I was using a cheap stick-on ring stand thing for extra grip, but have switched to Moft's new X stand, which is incredibly useful/versatile. I can confirm this case works perfectly with that stand, and the two combined are excellent.

I LOVE X-Level cases. So thin and feels great in the hand. I don't know about protection, I have a feeling there are not as tough as the high-impact thicker ones but I loved the look the most. Wish they had more colors.
