Didn't work well for me
This was pretty much a disappointment. A couple of problems:1) Ergonomically, it is hard to use; it requires a pushing/twisting motion that is difficult to sustain if your processing a lot of corn.2) Cobs vary quite a bit in diameter and the Corn Twister can't adapt. I ended up getting it stuck half way down on every cob.

I didn't find thid product easy to use.
I bought this product and the RSVP Shuck Deluxe Corn Stripper because reviews indicated that each were better for different sized ears of corn. Every year, I buy dozens of ears of corn that are frozen as both corn-on-the-cob and kernels. I had been using a knife to remove kernels and this was messy plus many of the kernels were cut rather than removed. I tried the Kuhn Rikon Corn Twister with some of the smaller ears of corn, and it didn't work for me. I just couldn't get it through a whole ear. The RSVP Shuck Deluxe Corn Stripper was much faster and worked for all of the ears of corn whether large or small. I returned the Kuhn Rikon Corn Twister to Amazon.

Have to have it!
We have always cut our corn off the cob in my family. What a mess and it is so hard to hold hot corn! This twister makes cutting it off the cob so super easy! You don't feel the heat of the hot cob and the twister is so easy to maneuver down the shaft of the corn. With a little trial and error we have found that it is easier to hold the corn horizontally when using the twister but it works the other way too.
