The top slate tier of the stand didn't fit inside the metal bracket. The lower tier sat nicely inside the bracket. It was loose enough to cause me concern that whilst carrying the stand it could slide off/out. So I sent this back (can't comment on the return process as its on going) As we really wanted this stand we ordered a second one. Assuming it was just bad luck that the first one was poor quality. We were wrong, first thing i did when the second one turned up was the test the top tier and exactly the same thing. Lower tier sits nicely (and safely) within the metal bracket yet the top tier does not. Absolutely terrible quality control. Will not be ordering a third one! So once again we are having to go through the whole returns procedure. Avoid.

Bought the first one, delivery was quick but the stand was faulty as it didn't have holes in one side of the frame so we couldn't fix the top tier.I've returned it and ordered a second one, but the screws never seem to tighten, they get loose and make the entire structure unsturdy, not to mention the plate didn't properly fit. So I had to return it again, not value for money, I wouldn't recommend.

The slate plates were quite flaky and slate was breaking off , at the outer edges ,leaves oily marks. Purchased for birthday party and looked pretty on table

Very nice looking but a bit wobbly and very delicate because of the Slate plates

Bought this as a gift. My friend absolutely loves it. Looks so modern. I will be ordering another one for myself.
