I have used Vitamin D supplements for many years now and learned of the liposomal type, which is able to be processed more effectively in the body. By taking this 5,000 IU a day, my D level was fantastic (70). I have used other brands before and took 10,000 IU a day through winter to get the same effect. It does feel a little more expensive than other brands but it is one of the only liposomal ones I could find that did not have K2 in it.

First cycle of taking Dr. Mercola Liposomal Vitamin D. Haven't noticed any dramatic improvements in quality of life since I've started taking this supplement (about 2+ months now). Started taking supplement because my Vitamin D level was at 30 ng/mL and wanted to raise it to the minimum recommended level of 40 ng/mL. Won't know about effectiveness of product until next Vitamin D test (about three months from now). I'll update review when I get my test results. Would like to buy a 60 or 90 day supply, but this product only appears to come in a 30 day supply. Is the shelf life of Vitamin D too short to offer it in a 60 or 90 day supply?

I guess I can’t say if it improved my d levels or not since I haven’t had a blood test to confirm, but for the price I expected better quality. They were half brown half clear when I got them, but I took them anyway. :/. It’s such a pain to return stuff and I wasn’t sure if they were maybe supposed to look like that? The other problem was that I got very sick with a virus that evolved into a wicked sinus infection. These vitamins are not to blame, but I haven’t been that sick in a long time, and good vitamin D3 levels should help your immune system enough to protect from such a nasty (month long!) cold. Although I’m still a fan of Mercola and believe his products are well researched, I’m switching back to d3 drops.
