My daughter needed heels for a theater performance...we didn't want to break the bank on shoes that will get minimal use. These fit great, price was right so we got them. She said they felt good on stage and held up to the dancing and stage choreo...definately reccomend!

These character shoes held up beautifully for my daughters HS Musical. They seam like they will hold up for several more productions. They fit true to size.

I bought these character shoes on a whim. I needed a pair but didn't want to spend a fortune considering I probably won't be participating in any more musicals. The shoes are nice and they seem to be sturdy. Let's see how they hold up after 5 performances. The only complaint I have is the straps and they're a bit hard to adjust. Other than that they are what I expected.Update after 5 performances and 1 long rehearsal:Shoes are still intact and held up okay. My only complaint is that they scuffed considering that I only walk around in them for about 10 minutes per show. But talking to other musical participants, this seems to be an ongoing issue with all character shoes. Still my only complaint is the buckle that is used to secure the strap. It requires quite a bit of patience to put the shoes on.

Despite a heavy involvement in theater I have always avoided character shoes because of a bad experience in high school. Me feet never bled in these and I wore them starting with dress rehearsal.

We've only had them a month, with almost daily dance/play rehearsals and the heel fell off the week before the performance. I didn't necessarily expect them to last for years, but I had hoped they would have lasted through at least one full production! I had to buy her new ones. The Stelle brand was really nice, comfortable, high-quality, real leather, and not too much more $ than these cheaply made ones.

Ordered these yesterday, got them today, leave for chorus competition tomorrow. And they fit! I was reading all the reviews going back and forth what size to get. I wear a 6.5 in women's regular width, I decided on a 7.0M for this shoe. I figured a little big was better than a little small. They fit fine! Honestly I could have stuck with a 6.5, as the 7's are a tiny bit too big. Better safe than sorry! They do have a weird buckle, but I had no problems figuring it out. My chorus members that spent $60+ on their character shoes are going to be jealous of these $25 cuties. So, stay true to your size. As long as you don't have super wide feet, I'm telling you buy the size you always wear.UPDATE! (Post choir comp) I put my shoes on at 9AM, our choir performance was not until 3PM, and I did not take off my shoes until 9PM. My chorus members thought I was insane for wearing them all day, but my feet were not in pain at all after 12 hours of running around! My chorus members who had spent 2-3x as much money on Capezio brand name shoes are getting these for the next competition.

The strap is too wide to fit through the buckle well. It’s took several minutes to just undo the buckle because it is so snug. I need to be able to put these on quickly, and that won’t work with the way they were designed. (Maybe I just got a faulty pair, and they are normally fine). I can’t say much about the rest of the shoe, because this is a dealbreaker for me.They are getting returned.

These Adult Character Shoes fit just right for me and are very comfortable. However, this specific pair of character shoes arrived with drops of what smells like strong smelling shoe polish or something similar to that smell. The smell is all over both shoes as well as inside the shoes. I have left them outside to air out since the smell is quite strong and fills my home. Hopefully after some time I will be able to use them when the strong smell is gone.
