If you want sore forearms, Fat Gripz are for you. I use mine on just about every exercise now. And, yes, I even use them with my straps for deads. They work fine as long as you have long enough straps. You will get a pump! Trying to hold on to the thick (standard, blue) ones can be a challenge at times, so if your hands are on the smaller side, you may want to invest in the 1.75s, which I also have. They generally make your lifts more difficult. Can be used with any standard Olympic bar, certain dumbbells, and (carefully) with the EZ bar. Be sure to follow the instructions about where the slit should be in relation to your palm. Enjoy and be prepared to have sore forearms! (And don't be surprised to find your thumb-muscle cramping!)
