Unfortunately I have a lot of negative things to say about this bag, so I will start with the positives so that those likely to be satisfied with this bag will know without having to read my rant.This bag is large and spacious, will easily fit a reasonably sized laptop as well as pretty much anything else you will need for the day. It is very smart and I am yet to find any problems with the stitching. If you plan to use a private vehicle for transport, are happy to wear clothes with accessible pockets and need a bag with a lot of space this may well be the bag for you.If you don’t usually wear clothes with pockets, or use public transport there are some things you should know.Firstly, it has no external pockets - none. Well, more accurately, none that are accessible without lifting the main flap of the bag. This means that your days of diving for your travelcard at the barrier or whipping your phone out to snap a picture of a cute doggy are done. Each and every time you need to reach these things you must open the HEAVY flap of the bag, root around inside (more on that later) and then eventually extract your item and close the bag. On the plus side, if you don’t want to be tutted to death by hundreds of angry Londoners this bag will help you improve your planning skills.Secondly, whilst ~£45 might seem a little bit pricey for a fairly basic satchel, there is no need to worry. This baby is about to save you a ton of money. The lack of external pockets are likely to make impulse purchases a thing of the past. It will take you so long to reach your card or purse that the inclination to finish the transaction will probably have long since faded by the time it is found.Also, say goodbye to that morning cup of coffee on the way to work. The flap of this satchel is so stiff and heavy it is a two-hand job, so anything you are holding whilst attempting to open the bag is likely to end up on the floor or on your clothes.Whilst the cavernous dimensions of this bag might be appropriate if you are planning a weekend abroad driving around the country, they really don’t work on the train, bus or tube. The bag is made with a stiff leather with no give at all so the listed dimensions are absolute. There are four pockets, three of which are inside the main part of the bag, all of which are too small and only one of which is large enough to hold a decently sized modern phone. This means that everything else put into the main section of the bag will be rolling around in its abyssal depths, presumably moving between our dimension and the one where all of the lost socks go.The other, more accessible, pocket is on the front of the bag and is the size of a well-sized handbag itself. It is also covered by the heavy main flap and has no pockets or dividers so everything inside is clanking around in a chaotic mess. Should you need to access anything in this pocket (such as your phone, or travel pass as a ticket inspector descends on you in the middle of a packed train during rush hour) you will require both hands, about 10 minutes to search and a good half meter around the bag on all sides to open the flap. If you do this on a packed train you will be tutted, if you do this on a on the central line during rush hour you may well be stabbed. Luckily the shame of doing this once will likely make you withdraw from society, saving money on every kind of activity that involves other people.Pros: Might save you money and cure your phone addictionCons: Use may result in threats, violence and banishment from London Underground

I love this bag!! I’m a teacher and needed a good looking bag that would fit all my books, mac and extra bits and pieces! It has loads of compartments where I can organise all my stuff, it is sturdy and looks so good!!!

Very nice sized bag, with plenty of room for A4 folders and a nice carry handle and strap for ease. It’s a good quality bag, seems to be pretty sturdy and looks really appealing. It was a little more than some of the more budget bags available, but seems worth the extra few pounds

Bought this for work to replace a larger bag. Fits my laptop, charger, two phones, purse, makeup bag, keys, notebook, pens and business cards. Looks modern and professional, have had a few compliments from people. One of the clasps is a little fiddlier than the other to close but other than that it's perfect. Have had for 4 months and use daily, still looks like new.

Bought for my daughter- top quality product, vegan friendly, sturdy, very smart. She's really pleased with this- big enough to fit a laptop but as a handbag, it's not bulky at all. Excellent product which was delivered ahead of original estimated date. Highly recommend.
