Wiley's Physical Chemistry for JEE (Main & Advanced), 2ed, 2021

I'll start by saying this, THIS BOOK HAS A LOT OF MISTAKES, and I mean a lot. I think this book is relatively new so its understandable, but it doesn't make the fact that you have paid for a lot of wrong info, that makes your head hurt.I'm a student and I really wanted to learn more. But this book, oh man, makes it so much harder.I have some photos added for example, in the rate of second order reaction, there is an "ln" where it shouldn't. It's stuff like this that makes your revision really slow.Oh and here's the worst part, the practice questions. First of all take a look at the 16th question, the solution given in the book is wrong. And there's no solution, not even on the internet(atleast for this particular question)Note:the correct option is (A)Now some questions in this book are.... Incomplete. Yeah they don't even add full questions. I believe they forgot to add all the relevant information from wherever they copied the questions from. The questions be like "for the following reaction do this and this" and give no reaction. take the last photo for example.So yeah, don't buy this book just yet, give it some years and then buy it, lol. Go with balaji's physical chemistry, way better( got less mistakes). I still love this book tho, it's thick and got a lot of info, pretty much every topic is covered that's relevant for jee. The major downside, in short is that there are a lot of mistakes and if you blindly take its word for everything, you'll be in for a bad time.

The best book for physical chemistry! MRP of the book in official website of WILEY is 800 . I got here for 605. Very reasonable and worth the money.ABOUT THE BOOK-This book is very easily understandable by jee aspirants as well as , by the people who lag behind at the subject. Any student can excel by reading this book.Check out in the picture I've provided about structure of the book.Every chapter has at least 2 pages of basic introduction. To the right of every first page of chapter begining, it contains what all topics are covered through the pages .(picture)Then after every little concept explaination, there are a minimum of 5-6 examples based on concept application. It also has bulletin notes - not to forget the main theme .There are 882 pages about chapters and thenSolved JEE MAIN 2017 PAPER OF CHEMISTRY and then PAPER 1 and 2 of SOLVED JEE ADVANCED CHEMISTRY 2017 .There are exercises after every chapter Roman 1st- consists of SOLVED OBJECTIVE QUESTIONS FROM PREVIOUS YEAR PAPERS2nd- review questions3rd- numerical problems4th- additional objective questions5th- single correct choice type6th- multiple choice7th- assertion reasoning type8th- comprehensive type9th- integer type10th- matrix matchingAnd then answers - reasons are given only for REVIEW QUESTIONS.. and the rest are just the options .Go for it fellas! It's the best book of all time .😃

It had a detailed explation about each topic and a lots of questions to solve.So you should buy it definitely and don't get confuse about books just buy any of them. All are good that's why all have good reviews

nice book but r.c mukherjee of bharati bhawan is still the best one.theory part of this book is excellent but for the numerical problems one should have r.c mukherjee or p. bahadur.

Many errors and printing mistakes unlike any other wiley book like halliday, resnick (physics) or solomon and frhle (organic chem), etc.

Theory is as per the jee syllabus but the questions in between the chapter are related to different topics. You can't solve all the examples at once if you are reading the chapter or topic the first time. But I repeat theory is very lucid and well explained.

Very good book covers basics of chemistry of all parts- Physical, Inorganic and Organic. Every chapter contains solved examples, and exercises of all types asked in jee exams although it is a best book from Wiley publishing

Excellent book it completes all the concepts which are very important.it gives information in very deep mannerthat if you only read this book once you will get all important topics regarding physical chemistry
