Great learning book for my Granddaughter to study

If you're looking for a workbook that does all the studying for you, don't buy the GCSE English Language Edexcel Exam Practice Workbook (includes Answers). You still need to put the effort in. If you're like my nephew and want more confidence going into the English Language exams, this is a really useful resource. English can be one of the harder subjects to revise because it's not just about memorising facts. My nephew found that having plenty of exam-style questions to work through helped him become more familiar with the format and what examiners are looking for. Being able to check his work against the answers was particularly helpful, as it meant he could identify mistakes and improve without always needing someone else to review his work. What I like about this workbook is that it focuses on practice rather than theory alone. The more questions he completed, the more comfortable he became with timing, structure, and approaching different question types. For the price, it offers excellent value, especially when compared to the cost of additional tuition or revision courses. It's a resource that can be used repeatedly throughout the GCSE preparation period. If you're looking for a magic shortcut to exam success, this isn't it. But if you want a practical workbook that helps build confidence, improve exam technique, and provide valuable practice ahead of the 2027 and 2028 exams, it's well worth buying.
