Significant Improvement over stock
I was looking to replace my stock headlight bulbs on my 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport. The Cougar Motor brand LEDs came highly recommended by several of the review sites I visited so I decided to give them a try. The LEDs arrived very quickly and were well packaged. My initial impression is that these are very well made and installation is pretty straight forward. The driver’s side light went in without a problem, however there was an issue with the passenger side. For some reason, the rubber gasket on the LED made it very difficult to install the passenger side LED. This is probably a vehicle specific problem and not an issue with the LED itself. Both LEDs plugged into the electrical harness with zero issues and the lights worked perfectly. Each LED has a ring which is adjustable with a small supplied allen wrench which enables the lights to be set to a desired lighting pattern. These LEDs are significantly brighter than the stock headlights, but not dangerously so. I can’t speak for the durability of the LEDs as they've been installed for less than a day. I will update my review if their performance diminishes or I have other issues with them. Currently, I highly recommend them.

My two cents
I have bought cougar motor headlights since they have started the first set that I bought I actually sold my truck that I had them on for 5 years with the headlights still operational and that is what made me come back to buy more I bought another set of cougar motor that I was very unhappy with I returned them and saw this flagship model figured I would give them the one last try before I left to go find another model from another competitor however I am pleased that I bought the flagship model as they are the brightest that I've ever seen from cougar motor are there brighter on the market I have passed a few cars that are brand new 2020s and 2021s and 22s and those cars have some headlights on them that appear brighter although it could just be the type of housing that they are placed in as well overall I have not personally seen any LED lights brighter than this even though I have attempted to do so cougar motor has stood behind all their products and replace them without hassle if there was a defect I have only seen two defects in my entire time of buying cougar Motorsports one was a simple rubber gasket and the other was an actual light started to fail and changed color on me as far as this model in particular I have had it in there for 6 months I have highs and low beams I've run them together there's no issues in these I would gladly buy this model but only this model again

First Impressions
After a year with the beamtech h11s I decided the LED lights were better enough to switch fully and wanted to try some more premium bulbs. These were listed the best for the budget category on bulbfacts and looked like they would be brighter than the beamtechs without breaking the bank.Photo has Beamtechs on left and Cougar's on right.Install was easy, the bulbs look premium, and fans seems quiet. Lights are slightly brighter it seems but a much cleaner white and less blue. Will update later with long term impressions and whether or not they keep the snow off the lens (I dont think LEDs get warm enough in the housing to melt snow).

Time will tell but have to see it to believe it.
WOW!Most reviews come from.the perspctive of replacing a halogen set up. But for me, I had an LED, that I bought 7 months ago. After running into an issue of a replacement being out of stock plus shipping issues from China, I started looking at other options with that same company. None were the same lumens as the working light and then it appeared that I had to go through purchasing a canbus module separately (stupid). So I started looking at options with other manufacturers. I came across a review for Cougar Motors and their 12,000 lumens. I was skeptical of the claim but was really more focused on compatability with my 2018 Nissan Altima and having at least equal brightness to my current setup, which I waa very satisfied with. All of my research turned up favorable with reasonable pricing, compatability with the inclusion of the driver and a possible upside in brightness. So here we are....Delivery was received earlier than expected and packaging/presentation was very professional. Actually, based on a review that I read, a joke was made about the 80's style graphics of the packaging but they've apparently upgraded artwork. I only mention that because it added to my confidence of purchase. The product itself feels if high quality with a decent weight factor. In other words, nothing felt flimsy. I immediately went to install and I don't know if it's because I've done this before or if Cougar is simply a better made or more compatible product. I had some issues getting my current lights locked in place, as if the o-ring was too thick or something. But the Cougar's went in much easier but definitely felt like a good snug fit. It was still daylight but I could see a faint crisp break line across my garage door. Pulled out into the street and stepped back about 30 feet to observe the color, uniformity and "oncoming" brightness. They are white! Period. And definitely brighter than my previous set up but it was still daylight so effect was limited. So far, I'm pleased with exceeded expectations. At nightfall, I head out for a test drive. Started my car and the lights automatically come on and the reflection off of my garage was a holy crap moment! Super bright! I had 8 000 lumens before, which again, I was very pleased with. But these 12,000 lumen H11's produced a brightness that made me wonder about blinding oncoming traffic. But the beam pattern was super sharp straight across the top edge of the bottom panel of my garage door. My previous lights had a good straight beam pattern but not nearly this defined. I backed out into the street and the brightness and distance are unreal! I hate I didn't take before and after pics or video because I know what I was wanting to know before purchase and had a hard time finding it or having relatable confidence in what I did find based on a common application. You'll just have to take my word for it, more street brigtness 5 to 10 feet out. Super "hotspot' about 20 to 30 feet out. A lot more beam spread and the throw was a lot farther. Not sure how much farther to tell you but it was drastically noticable and I was still only on my street. On the road, just more of the same. My first turn onto a reasonably lit 2 lane, I was confident in the visibility. But I was really.wanting to see if I would get flashing from oncoming traffic. None. Turned onto another 2 lane road that is not as well lit and winding. It serves as more or less a short cut to get to another area in town but a road that you might decide not to take late at night because of darkness and turns. It wasn't late at night but these lights would give me a high degree of confidence to drive it. What I was able to see in terms of distance and spread was insane.compared to before. Not only could I see the turns much sooner than before, but what really gave me confidence was what I could see off the shoulders. Not that you can stop a deer or something from running out on the road but the feeling of having the extra visibility to be able react even a split second quicker is immeasurable. I just felt like I could see everything! And what's more is, I usually drive with my fog lights on, which are also H11's but not Cougars. I didn't even need them. There is that much coverage and visibility with these lights and that can't be overstated.Of course, the ultimate measure is time. I've only had one day of experience with these lights. The claim is 50,000 hours, which is about 17 years at 8 hours a day. Even though I expect any company to do.what they claim they can do, we'll see what is really reasonable in terms of expectations. All I can say now is the last company lasted 7 months. Granted, that's only one light out of six that I upgraded. And they are not being difficult to work with in terms of a replacement. It just appeared to be supply and shipping issues with the exact replacement. I have teenage drivers and didn't want them driving with one light out until that could be resolved. If performance deteriorates within an unacceptable amount of time, I will definitely update this post. Otherwise, at this point, I highly recommend this product.
