Nice, but with a major flaw.
This is just a zigbee 3rd party lightstrip controller hooked up to a lightstrip in a nice lamp form. It's completely compatible with hue or any zigbee bridge you might have. The problem is the power switch. Why is there a power switch on the lamp that completely removes the ability to control it with zigbee/alexa/hue/etc? It would have made more sense to have it send a brightness 0 or power off command to the zigbee controller it was packaged with. This is so annoying. So if you turn off the lamp with the circular button on the lamp itself, you can't turn it back on unless you do it manually. So dumb.A zigbee controller like that usually runs about $30 retail. it does RGB+CCT, which would cost about $2 for that lenght of lightstrip. the lamp itself isn't a bad design. it's not too heavy, but it's not going to randomly tip over. the colour reproduction and brightness levels aren't bad, but i wouldn't expect it to be given the length of lightstrip being powered. i would have preferred the price point for this being $45-50. I could have justified the current price point of $60 if the power button had done what I expected it to do - the reasonable thing for a smarthome device to do. But it did not.The power cord is also pretty short. And it's not USB so better hope that your power source is very close. They also should have put a longer cable from the lamp to the zigbee controller, because unless you've got something you can hide it behind, there's going to be a small white box sitting next to your lamp. Technically you could just make your own extension, if you've got knowledge of soldering or LED lightstrip cabling, but that kind of defeats the point of buying this lamp.tl;dr: i took a chance on a lamp no one had reviewd yet, was disappointed.

It's an inexpensive alternative and it shows.
This light does work with Hue and was easy to pair. It throws off pretty good light, but the colors are a bit off from Hue so if you're very sensitive to that be aware. It's not too bad, almost feels like 'old Hue' vs 'new Hue' color if you're familiar. With that said, the price really shows with the build quality. The 'lamp' is exceedingly cheap in construction where the base is hollow/thin plastic and has no weight to it. The light portion, it isn't 100% straight which again if you're sensitive to that it'll drive you nuts (it drives me nuts). The base is so light weight that it does not easily stay in one place and is prone to tipping over.In addition, the controller is *outside* of the base which makes it very hard to figure out placement. Since the cable from the base to the controller is about 6 inches and is stiff you are going to have to deal with this little rectangular puck along with the lamp itself for placement. It would have been so much better to make the base larger and just shove the controller in it. I may modify it later just to do that. The price is right for sure, but is it worth it? I'm not sure about that. In very specific usage scenarios where you understand the shortcomings I think this can work. Let's be honest, if you're already invested in Hue the $$$ has already been spent and saving a buck on these is likely not the best choice.

Decent for Hue system
I have a mix of Philips Hue bulbs and lamps, this is my first zigbee compatable lamp. It does work with the hue app, however, you cannot add it to an entertainment zone and use the hue sync app. No third party zigbee lamps have this feature anyway. The color reproduction is not near as good as actual Philips Hue products, but it mixes in with the others just fine. Setting it up was a little confusing, you have to turn it on and off 5 times or something-- it took me about 10 minutes before it came up in the hue app. From there though, it works fine with my hue remote and the app and is a welcome addition in my system.

Modern, beautiful lighting without breaking the bank!
What a great light, absolutely unique and works very well in my setup. I own other hue products so getting this lamp into my ecosystem was very easy. I also run HomeBridge so getting this to also work with HomeKit / Siri was a bonus. Quick response and a reliable to commands from my phone or voice control via Alexa and Siri.My daughter thinks I’m cool just got owning it, lol :-)I’m thinking about purchasing another one as a Christmas gift to make her day.Another quality product from this company!

Nice and functional
Pretty nice lamp for the price, the base could be improved a bit since the bottom is not fully touching but this is minor. They work well with Hue system, yes they are a bit slower to react than the HUE one but this is probably due to the way philips is handling zbee command than the lamp itself, price is about 1/5 of a real hue lamp so it is a nice product! In regard to color matching they are very close again to the philips, not 100% but philips probably use binned led overall I am 100% satisfied and I actually bought another one!

Ok hardware - Bad software
Even if they advertise it as "compatible" with the Hue ecosystem, I wouldn't recommend this product. It does sync well with the bridge and can do basic color changes through the app. The light itself is great. But, you can't add it to a room without having issues . It crashes the hue app. Also, it can't be added to scenes. Therefore you can't trigger it with the hue remotes and use this light in any of your scenes...That makes it almost useless for me as it can't be used unless I specifically go in the app to open the light and change it's color. So it's sitting in my hue app . Thinking on returning ..
