Cactus

"Cactus" was delicate, yet hard around the edges. Damn mean when it needed to be. Blissfully sweet when it didn't have to. Delightfully unpredictable. Left me sad when it ended, wanting more. But in a bittersweet way, where you were well aware that it would end soon and can't be angry that it’s over. Like having a week-long romantic encounter with a sexy stranger while you’re traveling. Walking away sad, but smiling.
