BBK has always been a trusted and quality brand. I ignored some of the negative reviews I saw on here and on American Muscle to my own fault. The unit I recurved was new in the package and looked to be solid construction. I matched the voltages on the throttle position sensor and ensured I didn’t have any binding with the throttle recoil. Unfortunately, I immediately got a check engine light and throttle at idle was all over the place. I tried reprogramming with my X4 that has the BBK 62mm throttle body option and the problems only worsened with a completely unresponsive throttle. I had to idle it home and removed it immediately and reinstalled the factory throttle body and everything cleared up. Overall I am disappointed but pleased that Amazon promptly refunded my money after I returned the item. Maybe you’ll get lucky and get a good one but purchase at your own risk.

Let me preface this by saying that I went to school for two years to be a mechanic, have rebuilt engines and transmission, and am also an engineer. That said, I set the voltage, just as the instructions direct you to. I start the car and the engine idle is between 2-3k RPM. I installed it with a new TPS and actuator motor. I used a scan tool to verify the TPS reading, in which was spot on. I swapped the new TPS with another new one to ensure it was not the problem but the issue did not go away. I installed the old throttle body and the car runs perfect again. $400 for a paper weight is a little steep for me.

Wow incredible upgrade on my 07 mustang gt !!! Works flawlessly as long as you set the new throttle body voltage exactly as the stock throttle body reading was. Follow the simple directions and you're all set. I added this with a steeda cai and it turned my car into a monster. Breathes better and car stock exhaust sounds meaner too. People look when i open up the throttle now and the car stronger and faster.

Easy to install. Has great throttle response, but do not feel any different in power gains. Good for the money I paid. If I had to pay full price, I probably wouldn't have bought it.

Have had to spend way too much time on this. Sending it back immediately. I don't know why but it just doesn't work.

Had no issues with the install. FOLLOW the DIRECTIONS! If you dont you may run into trouble. Check you voltage before hand and you should be good to go.Part works as advertised, and if you have a positive dispacement blower, I highly recommend upgrading your throttle body

Don’t buy it, don’t waste your money, it’s not worth it, you’ll start having idle problems it’s better to keep the stock one.

Installed and adjusted exactly to the voltage taken from the original throttle body. Install is fairly easy but once I took it for a test drive it held the rpm when I shifted and would not drop for 30 secs to a minute. Poor machining is my guess but the throttle plate is sticky compared to the factory one.
