I refreshed the old M&P with a new slide with an optic cut and needed a new back plate. This Bastion plate with the flag engraved fit perfectly and looks great.

I wasn't sure what to expect when ordering this, it seemed like it might be cheap in quality based on the price and I didn't have high expectations. Nothing against the brand at all I just never bought anything like this before. It shipped fast and was packaged well. immediately pulling it out of the box I was impressed with the packaging and the quality in person, it was stupid easy to install and fit perfectly in the gun it looks amazing and so far I've had nothing but good experience with the product. I highly recommend this to anybody that wants to modify their pistol. I will definitely be buying more of these from this company in the future.

I messed up and had bought one somewhere else for a M&P Shielp compact and found this one for my M&P Compact and this one fit perfect, switching it was very easy, if you can field strip your gun with no problems you can change the back plate yourself, I have the same one on my Glock 30sf and I installed them both

Great product! It fit my full size Smith & Wesson M&P 40 perfectly. Simply apply a little forward pressure to the striker sleeve (the white tube containing your striker) and the old plate slides out. Then slide in the new one. It felt like it took more time to safety check my weapon than it did to install the product.Pros:It replaces a plastic part with a milled metal part. It installs with no hassle. It adds no noticeable weight to the weapon. It looks completely awesome.Cons:Now I have to order a matching plate for my Smith & Wesson 9mm Shield because it looks a little dull in comparison! Seriously though, no complaints.

Honestly, if you looking this far, you should buy this. It's really cheap. It's made of medal versus the plastic that comes with it. Takes 3 whole minutes to install. And it'll make you fall in love with your firearm all over again. Plus, what she doesn't know, what harm her. Fits snug, looks OEM, that flag ain't going no where.

Bastion did a great job on these, I installed mine quickly with no issues, the laser engraving looks gorgeous and it personalized my gun even more which I really like. Once I pick up the M&P Shield I'll be ordering one for it as well. I liked it enough that I got my Dad a back plate for his Glock knowing how picky he is about his upgrades. Keep up the good work Bastion.

I got the M&P9 2.0 in flat dark earth and the original slide plate is black plastic and has an ugly texture. The ones for sale by Bastion are also black but they’re smooth and look much better than the original.I was worried that the Bastion slide plates only coming in black would not be a very big improvement over the original black plastic but it turned out looking way better.The original black plastic looks like the designers forgot to make that piece FDE and just threw a black one in there. But the Bastion slide plate looks like a very tasteful two-tone.

This is a nice well made piece that fit perfect. took less than a minute to install. And looked good very happy with this slide cover. I will mostly likely be ordering one of there magazine floor plates now after seeing how well the slide cover fit and looked
