Did not come in a bag but a smaller box than I would have expected.

The first time we bought these wood chunks, they were very good quality. I just opened the second order I placed to do some meat smoking for Easter, and I am extremely disappointed. The wood was pieces of chunks-- NOT WOOD CHUNKS. Anyone who smokes meat knows chunks last longer and hold the heat in the smoker. These so-called "chunks" burn out in less than 2 hours vs real chunks that would last twice as long. I will never order this brand of wood chunks again!

Excellent Selection of Wood. Being packed by weight rather than Volume its easy to get a decent mix of sizes. Wish I could buy it in Bulk Quantities because I'd do that in Half Heart Beat!!!! Its not the best buy but one I needed and used at the time.

Living here in the NW and the coast to boot, hardwood is pretty much impossible to come by unless your willing to drive a 180 mile RT and have a large truck. These "chunks" fit the bill perfectly for my smoking needs. Will be stocking up on these little guys for all my future cooks!

I bought a used item.. got a deal. I’m guessing that it just didn’t have the original bag. The chunks are perfect sized for smoking. Great wood.
