Poor quality for the price and hype
My first Estwing hammer and to be honest I am quite disapointed. The ball of the hammer isn't smooth or round as you can see and feel where it is unevenly ground and almost has a point on it.Handle isn't anything to write home about either. Can't be bothered sending it back but will just be buying one of the usual brands, bahco, stanley, kennedy etc next time for significantly less as well I may add.

Usual high quality Estwing hammer, as good as ever, my son lent his old one to a mate who promptly lost it. So I've brought as a gift he was very happy.

Superb.
I use this hammer all day everyday as a lead worker.it has excellent balance and really is a wonderful tool.Looks beautiful (if a hammer can ever be beautiful) and the workmanship is second to none. The ball is so smooth and well crafted it doesn't mark, and the face is beveled and again doesn't mark. Sure, it isn't the cheapest but you won't be needing another hammer with this one.
