Hiya Toys Robocop 2: Robocop 1:18 Scale Action Figure, Multicolor

If I had a time machine, I'd go back to the 80s and give this figure to myself as a kid. Even then, I felt the Kenner version failed to capture one of my favorite movie characters.This version is everything I wished for then and more—only a few decades late. It's a sleek, sturdy, movie-accurate toy, with poseability that perfectly captures that of the character. And the paint job is stunning, recreating the airbrushed, multi-colored look of the armor. And all at my preferred 1:18 scale—quite an achievement!If Hiya ever makes the unmasked version, I'll be the first in line to get one.

This is the Robocop figure I've wanted since back in the late 80s. Previous 3.75" scale figures were always misproportioned & never gave the impression of bulk & power that the movie suit conveys (some 6" & 7" scale figures today still don't quite get it right.)While this figure (and its variants) skirt the line between accurate & cartoon proportions, it's still the most ideal version I've seen to date. I chose the Robocop 2 version strictly for the added colors of the suit, and they come across beautifully in-hand. Articulation is on-par with most of the larger figures, and even small details like the extending ankle pistons are included in this small scale.The price seems to fluctuate considerably here. I paid $30 for mine & that's my sucker limit. If you see it for $20 or less, definitely pick it up.

Robocop was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid and having this figure make me wish I can go back in time and give it to my younger self

Great sculpt, detail, decent articulation. The paint work is also immaculate.
