I bought this because I wanted something easy & quick to use for recording conversations. I needed to be able to record meetings with my doctor and in the hospital. I've had some crazy interactions recently & no one believes me so I decided to start recording them for proof of how I'm being treated.I'm not very tech savvy so I wanted something not too complicated. I also wanted to be able to send recordings by email. This is perfect.It arrived quickly, I plugged it into the USB port on my MAC and let it charge all day while I was out running errands. Unplugged it this morning and tested it out for recordings. You only have to cut it on (one easy switch) and it records. So discreet. I put it in my pocket to see how the sound would be. I left the TV on to simulate background noise and talked with someone in the room with me.Then, I cut it off and plugged it back into the USB port on my MAC. Very easy to find, just click on 'finder' and it says "RECORDING". Click on that and all voice files you've made show up.I clicked on it and played it. Super easy to skip forward or rewind. Sound was great for my purposes. You could hear my speaking voice VERY clearly even with the TV on in the background.So, I'll now be able to have a witness with me when I go to the doctor or when I'm in the hospital. It gives me a lot of comfort knowing that I have more than just my word.I haven't yet tried to name files so I can't comment about that. At some point I'll need to do that and if I remember I'll update this. I did delete the test file very easily.It's so small and recorded well in my pocket. I live in a one party consent state for recording conversations in person so no one will ever need to know I'm recording them. This way, I hope to get authentic replies and since I've been mistreated, I can now prove it. Not just my word against a person of authority.Honestly, the way people are treating each other these days, I think everyone should have one of these. It's easy enough to use that you could teach your elderly loved ones how to cut it on and off and even if they can't do the computer part, you could listen to how their caregivers are treating them. Kids in school too, you can monitor how they are being spoken to.I wish people would be kind to each other and treat each other with dignity and respect but let's be honest, that's unlikely to happen all the time. This affordable little recorder allows you to check in on how your loved ones are being treated.Highly recommend for these purposes. It also says you can use it as a regular USB so that's cool. I plan on trying to put all my medical files on it so I have them in one place along with recordings of my interactions with providers.

Easy to use! Caught my ex cheating

After you flip the record switch, recording doesn’t start for 10 seconds. That is way too long. If you need to activate this in a hurry to record something, you will miss it.

Purchased this for my child to use during classes. Sometimes it helps to remember new concepts when doing problems for the first time. The product was delivered on time and works fantastic. The sound quality is better than expected. You can hear everything in the surrounding area, and the voice of the speaker is clear and distinct from the background noise. In a completely quiet setting, it is fantastic. I only wish that it had something made on it to be able to connect it to something like a keychain to keep it from getting misplaced.

I bought this device as an automotive troubleshooting tool to diagnose a creaking noise coming from the front end of my old vehicle. The noise could not be duplicated while stationary or on jack stands. I attached this recorder to the front right strut with zip ties, making sure it didn’t interfere with anything, turned it on and took the vehicle for a drive around the block. The creaking sound was audible over the engine noise but just barely. Next I attached it to the sway bar link with zip ties and drove the same route. That’s definitely the bad part. The creaking noise was very prominent in the recording and much louder than when I made the first recording attached to the strut. Since I just replaced that sway bar link a few months ago it’s going back for a warranty replacement. Because of this device”s small size and slim profile it made a perfect troubleshooting tool. I may never use it for that purpose again but for that bit of diagnostic use it was worth it’s weight in gold.
