Love the bag.. Using it on a daily basis for carrying my stuff to the work place. Have received several compliments from colleagues on the color and quality of the bag.

Not a very elegant looking piece. Inner lining is very rough and the color is green. It smells awful. Leather is very stiff.

Amazing product

When I first received the bag it smelled strongly of urine. Now I've had bags from this seller before, and while they did indeed have a strong odour, it wasn't of urine. I'm aware that some cheaply made leather goods use animal hides that are soaked in urine (presumably to soften them) so I gave it the benefit of the doubt and let it air for nine days. On some days the odour reduced considerably, but every now and again I'd be hit by it. The manufacturer included a little card suggesting it be aired for a couple of days and be kept in direct sunlight for a few hours (not normally recommended - but needs must). Anyway since the weather was nice and sunny it's been soaking up the rays - and while this has had an effect: the smell has changed somewhat from that of urine - it's still unpleasant. I had hoped to keep this bag as it would have represented a tremendous bargain. And if it was to spend it's life outdoors I would have. Unfortunately it was intended to be used for travel on planes, trains and automobiles, something my fellow passengers would object to. The real tragedy here is that the manufacturers are aware aware of the problem, but instead of fixing it by altering the tanning process to a more conventional one, they're suggesting it can be masked with leather conditioner or may simply fade over time--I doubt it.

This bag is decent. I would buy it again. I wish they sold the same one in dark brown.
