these rings are good for what they are, cost effective rings for unimportant applications. would you want to use these on a $1000 scope? no. would you want to use these for a light mount, when your day job is breaking down doors? no. do you need budget rings for your child's pawnshop scope on their first .22? these would be perfect. do you want a light mount for the beater that rides thrown behind the truck seat? these will do. the coating wears off easily. are the tolerances sloppy? yes. they are light, and feel like the recoil of a .300 would quickly split them, but is that their use case? no. these are rings for about $3 each, and for that - they are appropriate.

On both of the larger rings, the threads for the lower ring was not drilled properly so the upper cap bolts would not thread completely or seat properly. Poor quality control.
