Great flashlight
This flashlight works great. It’s strong for its little size. It shines really bright at night when I’m hunting critters. Recharges fast too!

Very good flashlights
These are very good flashlights. I like the different modes of brightness and of course, how bright they are. I recommend buying a spare battery so one will always be charged and ready.

p10i is a Solid Choice
I bought a few models from nitecore, along with a thrunight and settled on the nitecore p10i. Here are some notes on the models i tried: nitecore p10i: - by far the nicest overhand grip, due to the head and tail being slightly larger diameter than the shaft -i prefer the simplicity of 3 brightness levels plus instant strobe, over the other models which have modes i will most likely never use. -on/off and mode button are all on tailcap, which i prefer because it is super easy to locate and toggle. -seemed like the most concentrated beam out of the bunch. nitecore mh10s: -side button only. the side button is completely flush, which makes it a bit slower to locate and depress. Otherwise a solid choice and this would be my second pick. nitecore mh12s: -The controls felt clumsy since the on/off is a tailcap switch and the options button is a side switch. -gets hot much quicker than the above models. thrunite tt20: -another hybrid tailcap/side button design. -the side button is slightly easier to locate than the nitecore, due to it not being completely flush with the frame. You could accidentally depress it; however there are lockout modes to prevent that. -this flashlight ran the hottest (slightly hotter than the mh12s), which was enough for me not to choose it.

Solid build quality, but lacks tail cap and upgraded battery
I recently decided to replace my trusty Surefire flashlight after many years of reliable service. It is a remarkably engineered product and built like a tank, but I’m tired of its endless appetite for CR123 batteries. So I researched the newer lithium rechargeable, LED flashlights. I narrowed my choice down to Fenix and Nitecore. Fenix looks super solid and many people, in the reviews that I’ve read, are effusive about its quality, but in the end I decided to go with Nitecore. I picked the P10i because it allows for instant access to the strobe feature via the tail switch. That is important to me ( it appears the Fenix PD36R Pro also has this feature). Also, I don’t want a gazillion choices in light level, and I don’t want to have to learn a complex UI. I want to be able to use this light on instinct, not only after careful study. The P10i has only three light level settings plus the strobe. All of these functions are accessed from the two tail buttons. I don’t think it gets much simpler than that for these high lumen flashlights. I also like that the P10i can use CR123 batteries with an adapter in a pinch (though with less capability than the stock rechargeable battery). So far the Nitecore has served me well on dog walks. However, I do have some gripes. I don’t like that the first setting is “turbo” because it makes the flashlight hot very in a very short period of time, but I just quickly click past that setting to mitigate the issue. One thing that I didn’t appreciate before buying the P10i is that it didn’t have a tail stand. The tail stand seems like an obvious safety feature to me as it can help prevent the accidental activation of the flashlight. The on button protrudes from the tail. The tail stand basically adds guardrails to reduce the risk of accidental activation. The flashlight always turns on at the turbo setting. This is a serious issue. Nitecore does sell a separate tail stand separately. I bought it and it fits beautifully. However, I now see that the Nitecore P23i comes with the tail stand (I don’t see that the Fenix model has a tail stand included or even an option for one). Considering that the tail stand costs $18, you can effectively get the P23i for the same price as the P10i when you factor in the cost of the separate tail stand. Also, the P10i comes with a proprietary 4000 mAh battery. But the replacement battery for it is Nitecore’s proprietary 5000 mAh. That battery is stock on the p23i. The comparison between the 10 and the 23 is not exact because the form factor is different, but if I had to do it over again I’d probably just get the 23.

Great light for rural sites.
I bought this based on reviews and it worked better than expected. I live in a rural area and it lights up the area really well when the dogs are barking at deer or other animals.

Hands Down “The Best Flashlight under $100”!
This flashlight is hands down the BEST flashlight I’ve ever come across! It’s insanely bright for its size ,and it looks super awesome. Look at the photo of it mounted on my modified nerf gun, so sick! You can see all the different modes it has in the video I took. I’ve had this bad boy since December of 2021 and it still looks like his good. I’ve brought it on camping trips and vacations, it has never let me down thanks to its insane battery life. I absolutely love it!!! DISCLAIMER: The one issue I have encountered with this flashlight is that it is so powerful that it heats up really fast on the max brightness mode. It can burn certain materials if left on in a pocket, bag, or anything really. SO PLEASE be careful with it when you get it, because I know that you are going to order it after reading this review.😉 In conclusion, by the damn thing!!!
