Item arrived well packaged. An excellent deal as it comes with tools. The mat is think rubber and has plenty of spaces for items you're taking apart. Will refer this to friends. NOTE: Need to leave the mat sit out for a day to fully lay flat.

It fit the unit perfectly after removing the stock filter and cardboard shelf. They included a cloth tab for easy removal with future change. Two filters come in the package

For the price it does the job well so far. It's obviously not a complex piece of equipment (no rocket science involved). It pulls solder vapor / fumes through a filter and keeps the bulk of the smoke away from my breathing space. There are better lab / industrial / commercial grade units available with better filtration stages, but again, this is adequate for my needs around the shop. I like the compact size (small footprint), it's easy to move from bench to bench, it actually appears to be made fairly well as far as plastics are concerned, the fan provides decent suction, the noise isn't so horrendous as to cause someone to have a "nervous breakdown", the flexible hose appears to be pretty sturdy, we'll see how it holds up over time, if it holds up, I'll probably buy a few more for the other benches in the shop. I did purchase the carbon filters with the hepa layer as opposed to the plain carbon filters only. So, there ya go, it meets my needs, hopefully it will meet yours.
