Not worth the money!
We were so excited to have our family and friends come to our house to reveal our FIRST child's gender... AND IT WAS A HUGE FAIL. We wanted to do something out of the ordinary balloon release. Reading the reviews, we decided to buy it. I had both of our little cousins pulling strings one by one and when the release string was finally pulled one piece of confetti fell out! I literally was arm deep in this pulling the rest out! It was horrible. I would not recommend this to anyone! I was not offered a refund or even an apology.

This gender reveal pinata was great and the pull strings worked
This gender reveal pinata was great and the pull strings worked. We gave it 4/5 because the opening (where candy falls out when the strings were pulled) was smaller than we expected. There were gender reveal lollipops placed inside the pinata and they actually got stuck and held up the other candy in the pinata. I used my hands and tore the opening some more and it made the rest of the candy fall out. I would still recommend it because it was the best pinata we saw and it still worked when the strings were pulled.

Great gender reveal piece
Great gender reveal piece! We filled it full of crepe paper and the pull worked really well! I would have given it 5 stars except it is a little hard to get into the top to stuff the pinata. If the cardboard was more perforated to get the stuffing in, it would be a 5! Just be gentle opening the top but otherwise works great and looks great!

Gender Reveal Pinata Review
It's a Girl!I bought this pinata for our gender reveal party and while the concept was great, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. There are 12 strings to pull and one of them "magically" breaks the pinata to release it's treasures. As luck would have it, my 6 year-old niece pulled the first string and just happened to pick the one that opened the pinata. It was quite anti-climatic. Obviously there was only a 1 in 12 chance of this happening so it's not anything "wrong" with the pinata...it just made for a less than dramatic gender reveal.ProsCute & unique (everyone is doing the balloons in a box these days)Decent sized - I fit two bags of candy, 24 rolled up pink wash cloths, and several girly hair barrettes in the pinata and still had some room leftReasonable priceLess dangerous than the kind you take a bat to...we were able to do this one indoorsConsFill hole is fairly small, about the size of a half-dollar and not very well hiddenIt's oddly shaped so even once it was "broken" I had to shake it and flip to to release the rest of the bootyThe opening only opened part of the way so it was more like a slow trickle than a flood of goodies; this was fine for us since we only had one kid and the rest of us were adults who weren't going diving for the goods anywaysOverall, I was disappointed with my personal experience, but I still thought it was a good product.

Perfect Pinata For Gender Reveal
It was perfect for our daughter's gender reveal party. There were no problems beating it with a stick to open. It split open nicely, showering the candy reveal everywhere!
