This was a great starter kit, the only thing that really let me down was the filter. The filter became clogged eventually which resulted in a really long brew time

Being honest I just plane don't like it. When I first saw it, I was all fired up. For one thing there was no instruction on how full to fill the bean container, and that is why gave only three stars. The cover that fits over on the bean tank could cause an injury, and the part that goes into the ground coffee tank to me is to sharp the edges could be rounded more. And the brewed coffee goes, it would be a great improvement if there was a pouring handle. Some people my have either, RA or Carpel Tunnel, plane Arthritis. The water kettle is really cool . I will keep it and use it as a center piece for my kitchen table. the grinder does have some friction if you turn the adjusting screw to the right far, and read the instructions

Wood collar smelled like chemicals for amour 2 weeks. The filter and grinder worked great for about 4 week, not the grinder makes too much fine dust. I matter what adjustments you make. The filter is clogged with the super fine grinds and does not work any more. There is no effective way to clean it. The glass portion is fine.

Wanted to wait til I had used it a few times to leave a review, and all I can really say is that it's an awesome kit. The gooseneck works great, the hand grinder takes some time if you're brewing multiple cups at once but it's fun and I feel like a hipster barista for a moment so there's that (have already ground a full pound of beans and it's still running strong). Have used the similar product in the past but never used a metal filter, as a regular joe who enjoys coffee I can't tell a difference between the metal filter and a paper one (I bought a pack of paper filters and unless you stick something down in between the filter and the carafe it "burps" a bit). Anywho, for what all was included I really can't argue with the price.

If you are looking for a pour over set at a good price this is it. If your taste/flavor desire requires use of a paper filter, keep looking. I like the fact that this does not require the use of paper filters. What’s even nicer, is how fast and easy it cleans up ! I’ve tried a few different blends in this and have not been disappointed. I’ve used it every day for a month with no wear or tear that I see. I compared a few different sets and individual pieces before purchasing this and felt it was a good value, I could do without the coffee grinder, however it does work, but takes some time to grind enough beans. I would recommend this to family and friends alike.
