I ordered this Dual Dash Cam, Z-Edge Z3D 2.7" Screen Dual 1920 x 1080P Dash Cam Front and Rear (2560x1440P) on September 5 2019. It arrived on time. The package was fine and the camera was new. I had to order an SD card for it. The directions in the box are well written in English and the guide describes how to install the rear and the front camera. However, I watched a few youtube videos to learn how to hide the wires in the car interior. I recommend the same thing for anyone that buys this camera because the sticky tape that comes with this device, to use with the snaps. do not work in the heat! Avoid using the snaps and hide the wires. (If you do want to use the snaps than I recommend outdoor wall mounting tape (but that could ruin your vinyl.)Upon turning the car on, the camera worked instantly and its default settings are great for me (records 3 minute frames and shows the front and rear camera views.) I also tested viewing the videos from the SD card on my computer and the videos are flawless.I have used this camera in two different cars and it has performed well in both.Thank goodness I had this camera; it has recorded crazy drivers smashing into other drivers during my morning commute. Twice I had children run out in front of my car while I was driving slowly once near my work and another time in my neighborhood. Thankfully I stopped each time, but the camera caught each incident and showed that they ran out in front of my car too quickly.I am very happy with it. After 8 month of use it is working perfectly. I have yet to use all of its other features, like motion detection while parked, because I have not needed to use it. When I see other cameras at best buy or other big box stores with the same features listed for double the price, it makes me happy because I know that I got a good deal with this camera. The Z3D dual dash cam is a well made product!

Bought on the lightning deal so great value for money. Easy to set up and format the card (ordered separately). I did order the hardwire kit (separate item) but to be honest it wasn't needed. The wires tucked in well around the roof, there is still one wire for us from the bottom of the windscreen to the power socket, but the clips supplied hold that well. Video quality looks good, it does record talking in the car, but you can turn this off and you don't watch the video unless there is a reason to. The clock even changed itself for the end of BST. If it comes up on the lighting deal again I will buy another.

Schon lange überlegte ich mir, ob ich mir mal eine Dashcam anschaffen soll und als mir diese Dashcam aus dem Hause Z-Edge empfohlen wurde, griff ich zu. Da ich sehr begeistert von der Dashcam bin, mache ich mir heute mal die Mühe, eine umfangreichere Rezension inkl. Bildern zu erstellen.Es handelt sich hierbei um eine GPS-Dashcam mit Front- und Rückkamera. Dabei installiert man vorne mit Hilfe der mitgelieferten Scheibenhalterung die eigentliche Dashcam und hinten die kleinere Zusatzkamera. Das Besondere an dieser Dashcam ist der in der Halterung eingebaute GPS-Empfänger, welcher automatisch bei den Aufnahmen die Positionsdaten sowie die berechnete Geschwindigkeit an die Cam schickt und diese mit aufgezeichnet werden. Mittels einer Software, welche man beim Hersteller für Windows-PC’s und Mac’s kostenfrei runterladen kann, kann man sich dann die Aufzeichnungen mit den Fahrtdaten anschauen und auswerten. Auch eine praktische Screenshotfunktion ist vorhanden.Die Bildqualität ist super und für den Einsatzzweck mehr als ausreichend! Wenn man, wie ich, beide Kameras benutzt, kann man in 1080p @ 30fps aufzeichnen. Nutzt man nur die Frontkamera, sind sogar 1440p @ 30fps möglich. Auch bei schlechten Sichtverhältnissen habe ich gute Bilder bekommen, was für mich wichtig war.Die Dashcam bietet einige Funktionen an, welche über ein übersichtliches Menü (mehrsprachig; z.B. in Deutsch) direkt am Gerät leicht einzustellen sind. Man kann beispielsweise einstellen, wann die Aufnahmen überschrieben werden sollen.Geliefert wird das gute Stück mit allem, was man für den Einbau braucht. Die Kabel sind von der Länge vermutlich selbst für einen Kleinbus ausreichend und gefreut habe ich mich über ein Kunststoffwerkzeug, mit dem man den Spalt der PKW-Verkleidung ein bisschen auseinanderdrücken kann. Das hat mir bei der Kabelverlegung sehr geholfen. Eingebaut habe ich die Dashcam übrigens in einen 2010er Ford Fiesta. Achtung: Wie üblich, braucht man noch eine MicroSD-Karte! Ich selbst habe mir bei Amazon gleich eine Samsung EVO mit 128GB Speicher dazu bestellt, wobei ehrlich gesagt, eine 64GB auch gereicht hätte.Anhand meiner vorigen Informationen, ist mein Fazit sicherlich absehbar gewesen:Man bekommt für sein Geld eine tolle Dashcam inkl. der zweiten Kamera, welche eine gute Bildqualität und tolle Zusatzfunktionen wie das GPS bietet. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

After my old dash cam (front-facing) broke a little while ago, I have always been on the market for a dual dash cam. However, most of the dual dash cams that I looked at were much more expensive.Doing some more research - I found this gem on Amazon! I was excited to see that it was a dual dash cam system at an affordable price. To top it off, it had some great reviews and a lot of nifty features (such as G-Sensor, expandable storage, etc.).When I received the cam, after ensuring I had a full charge, I tested things out, and one thing that I was surprised about was the sensitivity of the G-Sensor.Specifically, when I picked it up, the unit turned on and started recording. This sensitivity is great and a feature that I was looking forward to for 2 reasons: i) I wanted to have a camera that would be activated if a collision ever occured (have been caught in a rear-end incident where the person who caused it sped away), and ii) Car break-ins are on a slight rise in some areas I shop at, so having it 'armed' when I am out shopping gives me piece of mind.Another great feature that couples with this is the night vision. I am usually skeptical of night vision / night modes because picture & video quality can get overly grainy, but this camera performed very well.On top of this - the form factor is not chunky at all, so it does not obstruct my line of sight while driving.For this pricepoint and for the wealth of features - I definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for a dual dash cam set-up.
