Exact fit for 2006 Mazda 5 2.3l
Installed this in my 2006 Mazda 5 around Nov 2022. The install went pretty smooth. I just watched some YouTube videos. Just messier than and longer than your typical oil change. Leak is gone and has not returned.

Great replacement for Mazda 5 2007
Had the leak. This fixed it on my Mazda 5 2007.It's not the same as the original gasket - so it'll hold up better. But it still fits without buying the newer version of the oil cooler. I just wanted to replace the gasket - not the oil cooler itself so this was a good find. The install was straight forward. You don't need to remove the coolant lines and the whole cooler to do the job. Just get to the bolt (even though you cant see it) on the top of the housing and remove.Been a week or so now - no leaks. Will update if I run into problems.

Easy to install and quality good
I have a 2010 mazda3 2.5. The dealer told me $300 and more to fix the oil leak and that there was no part available to fix but a brand new cooler. But this part works on any mazda3 that has an oil cooler with that gasket. It was easy to install and it fix my problem I had for over a year. A little note for you all DIY gens and ladies, you do not have to remove the coolant lines at all. Just the top bolt that holds the cooler together and the 4 bolts the holds the housing. (After you drain the oil out) And quick cleaning and pop the new gasket in place, put back together and your good to go.

Oiler cooler replacement gasket
Oil cooler still leaks. Better to replace the oil cooler itself.
