Suspenz EZ Kayak Rack

Was easy to install and works great. My only gripe is the long strap is attached to the bottom and when i have my kayak on the mount if the little strap is tucked in behind its hard to get at due to the height i have it mounted. It may be like that so the long strap doesn't get stuck under the kayak when loading which makes sense to me but i think you could get around that by having long strap hang off to the side. Not enough of an issue to remove stars, its still great.

I mounted these to the side of the tool shed in the early Spring to have a place to keep the kayak out of the way and off the ground. It has done it's job well so far. Would have given it 5/5 stars if the padding were removable, so I could store them out of the elements in the winter. The strapdown system is great because we get some extreme winds off the lake on a regular basis and the kayak hasn't wiggled at all.Edit: Two years later and while it has mostly held up, one of the buckles has broken making one of the two straps useless. The plastic is not very sturdy and snapped easily in the cold.

I was a little apprehensive about buying these kayak racks because I thought the price was too high but after installing them I will say they are worth it.First off the build quality of these racks is excellent. The tubular steel frame is light to handle but strong to hold. Each support is well padded to protect your kayak from scratching and the tie down straps hold the kayak securely,I'm using my EZ Kayak Rack to hold an Old Town Heron Tandam Kayak and it supports the weight and size of by Kayak with easy.Wood Screws are included to mount the Kayak rack to any wooden wall, support posts or dock. The kayak can be mounted to metal docks and piers using lag bolts or clamps which are not included.Our Kayak is 13.5' feet long and 60 pounds in weight. This Suspenz EZ Kayak holds it with ease.Overall I'm very happy with the build quality of this Kayak Rack and would highly recommend it.

Great kayak racks. I bought another set immediately after I installed these. Relatively simple to install but pre-drill the holes or you will have difficulties screwing in the screws as they have a large shoulder ( which supports the weight). If using a drill to install the screws, slow down the speed of the drill.

This is the 2nd set of racks and this one comfortably holds a 20’ tandem sea kayak. I really appreciate the cushioning provided that really protects the kayak as you secure it to the rack.
