The Pivotal meditation cushion is intended for sitting in the half lotus position. You can comfortably place one heel underneath the top of the seat (when turned higher side in front) while placing the other foot on the other leg (please see first photo). When turned with lower side in front, you can place one heel on the top of the cushion, while toes would touch the ground and then you would place the other foot on top of this one. You can turn it around on either side as you see fit depending on your sitting style (please see photos of girl sitting).
