I ordered these tent stakes to secure in placefour,1/2” thick polymer drain grates to prevent foot, hoof and 2 wheeled cart traffic damage on sloped paths over a shallow fiber optic cable installation trench. I placed 8 through the grate slots at the corners of two grates and 4 through the remain 2 grates on a lesser slope.Not only were they beefy, they did not deform when hammered into rocky clay soil.Their power coating suffered only one tiny chip and the grates, having been partially countersunk in the soil, stayed in place when tested.These tent stakes were well worth the money for my uses.

I bought these to hold down my pop up Christmas decorations on the lawn. They were very sturdy and didn't bend like some that I previously purchased. Ordered more after I got the first set I was so happy.

I am using them to hold down a dead body prop for Halloween. I used twine to tie the body, hooked the tent stakes around the twine and shoved the stakes into the dirt. The stakes have held the prop well.
