As I said in the headline, my floors look new with the Bissell Spinbrush and this BISSELL 1789 CrossWave Multi-Surface Formula which goes and long way and lasts a long time. My floors shine with no effort, And with light spot cleans I can use a manuals mop with the BISSELL 1789 CrossWave Multi-Surface Formula in a spray bottle. Recommended product

Most of the time when I buy a floor cleaner that "must" use a proprietary solution, the first thing I do is seek a substitute. They're usually too expensive and hard to purchase at specialty stores, and the performance they deliver isn't worth the aggravation. I have to say, this time, I'm marching to Bissel's drummer. I need very little of this solution; I actually short the solution a little because I hate sticky floors, and that seems just enough to clean the floors beautifully and leave a wonderfully clean finish and a pleasant, fresh smell. I clean the floors once a week, and this bottle lasts 2-3 months at least--and I have hundreds of square feet of tile in the kitchen, bathrooms, foyer, laundry, and walkways between rooms. It's surprisingly economical, to the point that I'm just going to buy it. Floor cleaning is a miserable job, but the incredible Crosswave and its solution give me such a great, quick result, I actually don't mind so much. For this much $$$ for a floor cleaning machine, you should get an easy day, right? This is one of the few times I haven't felt gypped by a floor-cleaning "system.," so I don't mind paying to play. Great formula! It does a great job of cleaning all the floors in my house. The floors in my house are mostly laminate, and along with the Cross wave, leave my floors less streaky than anything I have used yet. The only time I get streaks is if I didn't fully suction the water up properly but then I just go over it again and the streaks are gone. It also doesn't seem to leave a residue which dulls or leaves foot prints. It does a great job on carpeting and rugs too. I go over them weekly and I'm surprised at what comes out of it. I love the scent of it also, leaves my house smelling clean.

So I waited a while to post a real review because I had to see long term use and I am highly impressed with this vacuum I had to use my swiffer wet jet and swiffer vacuum dry mop every day to keep the floors clean or what we kinda thought was clean we have 2 dogs a cat 3 kids and 4 adults living in the house and constant foot traffic in and out my 2 year olds feet would have to be wiped off 3 times a day sometimes because her feet were black and nothing we had would get the dirt out of the floors they looked clean but were not If inspected closely was still dirty we bought the crosswave in hopes that it might work but did not have very high hopes because we cleaned the floors every day and they were still dirty but the bissel after 3 times in a row of cleaning finally got the floors clean and is doing an excellent job of keeping them clean we clean the floors 2 times a week with the bissel and only have to spot clean in between it's the best product I ever bought and I would recommend this vacuum to everyone with uncarpeted floors and area rugs our daughters feet are finally clean lol
