Do you have family members that keep saying "where's my Chapstick". Well this is the answer for you. I have 3 children all teenagers and I am constantly hearing that phrase over and over. So one day I decided to look up on amazon(my favorite store) to see if they had something to hold Chapstick. But not just any ole' Chapstick holder, but one that would never get misplaced. And viola. Behold the all mighty zip stick. This product is EXACTLY what we needed. I ordered five of them and received black and pink. They don't let you chose the colors though, it's random. When they arrived I was thrilled because they were perfect. They are made of a sturdy pliable rubber that you just slip your Chapstick into and your on your way. You can hook it to your belt loop with the sturdy metal clasp or connect it to a lanyard to wear around your neck like I do at work. The retractable wire is sturdy and safe for handling (not sharp) and extends to 31 inches long. Thats pretty far. Also You can tug pretty hard with no worries of breaking. When the Chapstick is in its holder you can even twist your Chapstick while still in the holder to advance it up for more. There is a metal ring that connects the holder to the zip string so that it can be used to hook a lanyard or other keychain type device for more hanging options. These would make GREAT stocking stuffers for friends a family. Who can't use a Chapstick holder???? Now upon further investigation I do not believe a regular size LIPSTICK would fit because they are thicker and more rounded on the base. But the LONG NARROW lipsticks (same size as Chapstick base) should fit just fine. Length doesn't affect it's ability to hold it in place only the thickness of the Chapstick/lipstick base. I have had mine for some time now and LOVE it. Don't know how I managed before always wasting time searching through my work smock pockets for my tiny Chapstick among the sea if pens, highlighters, papers etc. hope this helped.

He used to buy chapstick in bulk, keep one in every bag/pocket/glove compartment, and just plan on losing 2/3 of them. He is very particular to one brand, and that shape does not seem to work with other chapstick holders. He also has arthritis in his hands, so it's hard for him to fiddle with other holders that don't have the retractable tether.I bought this as a gift for him in February 2020. It worked perfectly! The cable is smooth and the holder works with all types of chapstick. It's easy to unscrew the chapstick, leave the cap in the holder, and then just screw it back in (even for someone with limited mobility in their fingers). I just bought another today (5/4/21) because the cable finally broke. I would say that is a GREAT length of time for something that is used literally every hour of every day and was less than $10.

I'm an unashamed chapstick addict. I always had several chapsticks floating around, but I could never find one when I needed it. I would find myself buying it all the time. I bought this product several months ago, and it's worked exactly as promised.There were a few minor issues, but none of them were major enough to warrant a reduction in stars:1 - The holder was too big and bulky to attach to my keychain easily. I removed the part that had the retractable string and now only have the actual holder on my keychain. Probably not what the makers intended, but there you have it.2 - I didn't have the option to choose my color. This was most unfortunate, since I ended up with a godawful bright pink. After seeing how useful it is, though, I carry that ugly pink chapstick holder without regrets! :o)3 - If your partner is as much of a walking furnace as my husband is, do not let him carry your chapstick in this holder in his pocket. I don't know if it's because the heavy plastic allows the chapstick to retain heat, but we sure did have a mess when we opened it after he'd been carrying it (along with the rest of the stuff on my keychain) around for the day.

If you lose your chap sticks a lot, I would highly recommend getting a chap stick holder like this. I loved how I was able to grab the my lip stick, uncap, moisturize my lips, re-cap, and just let go of the lip stick. The retractable part of this product was probably the best part of the product because it made it easy to get, and even easier to put away and to not lose your lip stick.I would recommend this lip stick holder for people who travels and constantly on a move and constantly losing their lip sticks.The only one problem with this lip stick holder is that its so big and long, especially if you plan to put it on a key chain.

I have bought several of these. I am a nurse and I clip these to my scrubs. (Sometimes my belt look on my scrub bottom, or on my scrub top loop, i tried my badge but the holder is a little bit heavy for that.) I am always in need of chapstick. I am able to shape the holder to fit various chapstick sizes such as nieva's big chapstick bottoms or neutrogena's weird oblong chapstick bottom. The construction of the clip is good quality. it feels sturdy. I bought some for my friends and they use it when snowboarding or attach it to their purse so it won't get lost in all the mess. I find them to be pretty handy. I wish they were a little cheaper though so i could buy them in bulk for all my friends.

I love the Zip Stick because I'm addicted to my Burt's Bees. Living where it's dry, I panic if I don't have my Burt's Bees and this makes it really handy. I can clip it on to my purse handle so I don't have to go digging around trying to find it or I can clip it on to my belt loop if I'm walking and not carrying a purse. I've even bought them for others, because they've admired it. I just wish I could pick the colors.

I always know where my Lipchap is now. Without this gadget, I would of lost 5 Lipchap by now. I also stick mine in head first. Easier to replace, but can't get lid out=/
