These are great, and truly paper. They make a good dark espresso. It is true the crema is not as good as the aluminum ones though but I much rather deal with that then ingest aluminum every day.Note to Manufacturer, I have had other paper lids in Europe (and also Trader Joe’s used to make Nespresso pods with paper lids) that make a great crema. Those lids used some kind of stronger more fibery paper than your current lids. They could have some cotton mixer into them but not positive. So there’s hope / room for improvement if you tried making a stinger stiffer paper lid.I will still order these as my go-to lids in the meantime and will change my review if the product improves.

So far good, but expensive.

The design's pretty simple -- put coffee in thimble and pat down, put sticker on top, put in Nespresso machine and use. Quality and type of the coffee you put in does make a significant difference; I found that using anything other than espresso resulted in a weak cup if you made anything larger than a stretto but that's not really the fault of the pod.
