Great sound quality -- Less than average battery life
I already have the W-KING 50 watt bluetooth speaker for outdoor use and was looking for a more compact bluetooth speaker to have around the house and also as a backup to my outdoor speaker. It had to be under $80 and I am unwilling to compromise on sound so I did a LOT of research and watched many review videos before deciding to choose to order the Tribit MaxSound Plus, and BOY... am I ever glad I did! This little speaker has incredibly good sound for its size and for a bluetooth speaker in its price range. Decent bass, it is not a 'thumping' but is more than adequate, and with crisp mids and highs (w-X-Bass turned on). The sound quality is better than the over-priced JBL Charge 3 and JBL Flip 4 and Flip 5, and sounds just as good if not better than Bose SoundLink Mini, imo. I had my doubts about it actually being 24 watts, since most bluetooth speaker manufacturers lie about this, but after cranking it up to 100% I was convinced it is just as advertised. Tribit MaxSound Plus is a great value speaker and I highly recommend it! Thank you, Tribit! Keep doing what you do.* * * Edit: Reason for edit : Tribit claims 20 hours of battery life -- but that is a flat out lie!I reduced from 5 stars to 3 stars AFTER running out the battery, twice. On 25-30% volume I got about 8 hours of music before needing to recharge. Charging time is 4 hours. Seems kind of long considering that is how many hours of music you will have at 80% volume. I love the sound of this speaker, but I don't like being lied to. Unless this is a defect and Tribit is willing to rectify, I have no choice but to avoid Tribit products. No one likes being lied to. Now I may have to go back and edit Youtube and other online reviews/comments@Tribit? .......Hello?

Great alternative to constantly yelling "what did he say" at your tablet...
Great portable speaker period. Volume and sound quality are excellent for the price... don't believe me, do your homework and look up any number of online reviews besides Amazons (not that Amazon would lie - all praise Amazon). I use it now instead of earphones when working in the garage. Strongly recommend... btw, its waterproof for those of you that feel the need to keep it close to sources of water (for whatever reason) and are about as co-ordinated as a brick through a window.

Very good for a small bluetooth speaker
Out of package, turned on, pushed bluetooth button, phone found it, listened to music.Xbass full volume sounds great.Friend has a Bose and even he thinks this has better sound. Wife has it in livingroom and is doing dishes in kitchen, says way loud enough and very clear. Keep in mind were over 50 so we dont here all the sound a teen would hear. But we went to our share of ACDC and GnR concerts in our day. We are very pleased with the purchase and with Amazon return policy there is no reason no to buy it and if it dont hold up to your standards, return it but I think you will keep it. It is quite heavy. Sounds good sitting outside

UPDATED: Excellent product, good value
UPDATE: Unfortunately, I had to return the speaker. It was randomly shutting off for no apparent reason. Had no problem charging. Battery seemed fine. But every now and then, while listening via bluetooth, the speaker would just turn off. The signal wasn't lost. Happened with 3 different phones I tested it with, so it wasn't the phone. Distance was less than 10 feet. Too bad, I really liked this item. Might buy again, but will wait to see what else is out there. At first I was a bit disappointed, but the more I listen to this speaker the more I like it. I sold my JBL Flip4 that I had used for a year and replaced it with this speaker. I prefer this one. It pairs without issue. Charges quickly. Battery last a long time. Normally, I don't go for "bass boost", but without it the bass is just too low for my liking (and I don't listen to bass heavy music - mainly jazz, classical, and rock). With the bass boost enabled, the sound does get a bit muddier, but it's worth the trade-off. Can't expect too much from such a small speaker. Overall, it has a nice balanced sound, surprisingly good soundstage, and is definitely good enough for its intended purpose. If you truly want GREAT sound, be prepared to spend a lot more money, and realistically don't use a bluetooth speaker. My only beef is the price. While it's not expensive, it's selling for $55 US. It shouldn't cost $90 CAD in that case. It should sell for $80 app. Well done Tribit!
