Este é mais um volume da coleção do Tio Patinhas e Pato Donald por Don Rosa. Livro inédito no Brasil, tendo em vista que foi lançado aqui até a edição 5. Encadernado em inglês. As histórias são excelentes.

Don Rosa has given us another visual treat, celebrating and honouring the greatest of the original Scrooge/Donald artists, Carl Barks. Don's wry sense of humour injects additional fun into these stories. The only total dud is "The Attack of the Hideous Space Varmints", a horribly forced construct that has no place in the Ducks' universe.

Another fabulous collection of Rosa's Duck stories. This collection contains 8 stories - with "Gyro's Beagletrap" as a one pager to "The Last Lord of Eldorado" as a 30 page adventure. In terms of stories, it contains more material than the previous volumes. The length of the book is well over 200 pages. It contains one of the Rosa's personal favourites - "A LIttle Something Special", one of his least liked one "The Once and Future Duck" as well as one that is most liked by the fans - "A Matter of Some Gravity". Colors are vibrant and palatable, the cover is improved in appearance from the drab grey looking previous cover. The stories thread in history, geography, science, facts and humor to make it another great collection.Apart from the stories themselves, there are lots of writings by Don Rosa himself. It includes some pictured from his archives along with the explanation of the story history which is a bonus with these books. Rosa also continues on his biography, this time explaining his interactions with fans and followers throughout the world. Two interesting pictures drawn by Rosa are included in the volume - first one Scrooge with his friends and enemies all picturized in a single page and the other in which all the memorable souvenirs of Scrooge are displayed in a two pager. The details of both these pictures with references to the adventures they appear in are also mentioned.

a fun read. the artist has included behind the scenes and making of in all volumes. the stories are well researched historically. if some arent, theyre just darned creative.
