LaskoLasko Cool Colors 20" Box Fan Durable Metal Frame Purple

Really good box fan. It's a bit smaller than my old one, but much more powerful. The material doesn't feel thin, so I'm not concerned that the outside can easily be dented. The cord is also pretty sturdy, which is great because I move it around a lot. The color is different than pictured, but one of the review photos is 100% accurate to it's real color. It is loud, but that's part of why I bought it. It doesn't make any "screeching" noises (I think that's what another review mentioned). It does however make a clicking noise when the fans are just starting up. The noise is consistent, there's no fluctuations like there are with some box fans. I'm also able to put on some non-noise-cancelling headphones and not hear it, so if you don't mind loud but you're concerned about that for video conference reasons, you should be fine. Where I live it doesn't usually get unbearably hot, so I'm able to open my back door and set this fan up in my living room corner and it keeps me (and my cats) cool enough.

The Lasko fan is as basic as you're likely to find. This is its strength. Plug it in, set to one of three speeds and you're done. My experience after 50 hours of use is that it's durable. The only one available when I bought mine was an ugly purple. But what to I care - I'm a guy.As received, the fan had a wobble that caused the entire fan move rapidly from side to side and likely would have decreased its longevity and it was noisy. The reason for this is that the blades are made from a mold and not balanced. I corrected this by removing a cover and spinning the fan by hand. I observed which blade rotated to the lowest point after several trials. Then I marked it and cut some of the plastic blade from its tip - removing a little of the blade each time until there was no consistent blade seen that was the heaviest. This might seem to be too much trouble, but in the long run worth it. The fan is a good value for the money AND made in the USA.

Fits in my window well and cools down the room quickly. I was hoping the color would be more like what is shown in the picture but it's more of a mid shade purple. In any case, it functions well.

The media could not be loaded. I buy these fans all the time hello this one came with a big dent on the bottom where the plastic stand is supposed to go through well now it won’t go through at all and the fan makes the clicking sound because the propellers blades are scraping on the bottom of the fan I will be returning it

Vibrant color. This fan is very loud and, doesn't circulate much air. It serves the purpose I bought it for though... to add color to my room. I love it!

I love the big box fans and it was time to get a new one. This one is light weight compared to my older fan but packs a punch. I'm happy with it and love that it is purple! It may be noisy to others but I like the background noise.

CHEAP!!! The feet broke off within 3 days, even with the feet it would fall. One of the blades cracked off one of the times it fell also the cage cracked! The $19 dollar box fan we got from target is 10x better This fan lasted 3 weeks.

It's pretty quiet and moves the air very nicely. I purchased one last year and loved it. That first one sits by a doorway and pushes/pulls the air from my AC unit throughout my apartment very well. This new one sits in the living room window when its cool enough outside to go with an open window and turn off the AC. The two together circulate the outside air just as well as the one works with the AC unit. Love these fans. No problem sleeping with them running.

2023年の10月過ぎに購入、1万1000円。構造はシンプル、風量はOFF/強/中/弱の順で弱でも十分強い。というかデカい。音はそれなりにするが気にせず毎日寝れる程度で、窓際に置いておくだけでクーラー必須までの期間が違ってくる。良い。中以上にすると流石に音も大きいが、寝る前とかで無ければ問題なく感じた。音については個人の感覚と環境両方が絡むので話半分で。
