Legendary® Encounters: ALIEN™ Covenant Expansion

Excelente producto altamente recomendable

My review of the whole series: Though the art is hit and miss, this is an excellent game that works very thematically, and provides a real challenge to play solo or with higher numbers of players. The turncoat option for converted players is also great. The presentation is excellent, though the user-made card dividers are a must. They have provided dividers without labels, though, which is helpful. The game has a purchase element for deckbuilding, but really shines in its advancing threat mechanic. The playmat is excellent, and the two add-on games are worth having. Takes up a lot of space, and takes a little time to learn how to set up, but all the expansions fit in the main box, (except for the Queen playmat). This adds excellent material and play.

Regardless whether you enjoyed the film or not, this is a nice expansion worth getting. It adds not only new characters, avatars, etc. but also some new elements including the use of David. A player can play as him or he can be used as an enemy. For solo play, certain additions like the David cards need to be adjusted or omitted. I came up with my own way to utilize all the cards so it isn't difficult if you know the Legendary Encounters game even decently well. The difficulty of utilizing those cards you will figure out after a few plays what works for you and your personal preference. As far as cooperative play, I am not sure because I have not played it that way yet.

This expansion is smaller than the previous one, but also significantly less expensive. If you are an avid fan of this game like I am, this purchase will be a no-brainer. It doesn't add a ton of new concepts like the previous expansion. There is a new keyword, and a twist at the end of the scenario required for completion. I have yet to beat it, which is a good thing in my opinion. Even with the previous expansion I am able to get everything in the base box. The unique artwork is still used. My only question/concern is that I am not sure this scenario has the possibility of being beaten with Avatars or characters from the base game. The events and hazards from this expansion are brutal.

A no brainer If you want more versatility to your already great game of Legendary Alien. Highly recommended!!!
