Rugged Ridge, Cold Air Intake Kit, 4.0L; 91-01 Jeep Cherokee, 17750.20

Good quality product. But nothing fit right. Had to re fabricate the shield due to hood clearance issues, was also touching the lower radiator hose, as well as both power steering lines. Also the elbow had a bung welded to it which I had to cap. Overall was a good price but I was aware of the extra work required

Love the product, I didn't notice an increase in MPG. There is however a noticeable increase in power and engine breathes much easier. I had a K&N drop in filter which gave me 3 more MPGs over stock paper air filter, so if you are replacing a pure stock filter you will notice an increase in both HP, TORQUE and MPG. I did have problems getting out the stock box and snapped all of the bolts on the bottom due to rust and I also had to cut the rubber that fits over the throttle body but again no big deal. I wish they would have included new bolts for that. I had to walk to the store for new ones. Other then that I do really like the product it's self.

It did increase low end power but doesn't fit quite right and all the clamps provided are cheap junk and broke with little pressure,had to get new ones...

Mediocre fit, decent finish.

I received the intake kit quickly, but when I went to install it I found that several pieces were NOT for my Jeep. I contacted Rugged Ridge directly and was assisted by a guy named John. John kept constant contact with me on how to resolve the problem. He mailed me the replacement parts with out cost and was extremely helpful. It would have a 5 star if I had not had the fitment issue to start with.
