All kids will LOVE this fun story.Written in rhyme that flows brillianty and the illustrations are gorgeous.

I read A LOT of books to my sons (aged 4 and 9), and this was one of the best books we read this year. The main character is very relatable, and the side characters are diverse in nature (which is very important to me as a modern parent). The story is super sweet and funny, too, with a gentle message about that we do not always need what we want. The rhymes flow beautifully and are witty on top. And the illustrations are bright and colourful. This books really has it all, and I'll even recommend it to my sons' school and our local library. Perfect for every child that loves to laugh and be silly.

This books is lovely. The illustrations are beautiful. It is great to see how the little girl makes a decision and comes to realise what life with a pet ostrich is really like. This book helps children understand what it is like to have a pet and how they need looking after. Sometimes we may wish for a pet but in reality we can't give it what it needs and we have to think about what is best for the animal. A lovely rhyming story that is great for children.

A cute book about the responsibilities of owning a pet. The main character figures out what pet she wants by having a keen sense of observation and learning from the experiences the others had. Soon her wish to have an ostrich pet comes through and she learns herself this time about some of the responsibilities of having a pet by going through a series of rather funny happenings. A funny ending for a book with great illustrations that my boys enjoyed a lot.

What a magical story for kids that truly inspired the giggles. Well done Sarina.I absolutely loved the illustrations in this book, captured myself and my two girls in from the offset. A new favourite for us and a book I would highly recommend.

I absolutely loved this story. It's funny, clever and charming. It rhymes beautiful whilst all the time making perfect sense to the reader. Would be a fabulous Christmas present for your little ones to enjoy.

We really enjoyed reading this book. I liked the fact it is meatier than other books with a longer storyline. Cute illustrations too. Both my children were captivated.
