It has a couple of minor issues, but this is still the best Buzz Lightyear available, in my opinion, and the closest to the movie version.It does everything my child wants it to do:-The laser works.- The helmet opens via a button on the side and clicks closed.- The little control panel on his arm opens up and has the same sticker inside.- All three voice buttons work, and use the original phrases. Some of the voice clips are unusually long for a toy (and yes, he says "To infinity and beyond!").- He has karate chop action.- His wings open up in exactly the same way as the movies.- He has "Andy" written on his foot.He is a full-sized figure and very sturdy (my 3 year old puts that to the test). He's a little on the heavy side, so keep that in mind in case your child is really young.The only complaints I have about it are that the stickers were applied kind of haphazardly, and were already lifted in some places right out of the box. Also, the button to eject the wings is pretty hard to press, and my kid can only get it done by placing it on the ground and putting his weight into it.The lights on the wings work about half the time. I had read in the reviews that this was a common issue, so I was expecting it.Overall, this toy is excellent quality, the price is great (currently $32), and it has been a major hit at our house. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Very happy! Haven’t taken it out of the box yet but just knowing it is the real thing from Disney made me so happy. Was a bit nervous not receiving a tracking number. But it showed up the day it was suppose to.

Ok so my kids love toy story, and my son wanted buzz light year for his birthday. The one they were selling at Walmart was the same price, but his wings didn't open and he just wasn't as cool. This buzz has over 100 sayings his fingers move, his arm bends. His wings open and he lights up. It was definitely worth the money, we wanted a buzz from the first movie and this one is. I thought the space ship box was a pretty cool idea, my son likes to put buzz in it at bed time. There are so many sound effects and cool things that come on this toy, his left arm has a button on it where his laser is and you push the button it lights up and makes the laser sound. I'm rambling but im usually disappointed when I buy toys for my kids, because they don't do as much. But this was definitely worth the money.

Absolutely love this toy! Okay, so I'm an adult who watched the original Toy Story as a kid and have always been a huge fan. Now that my little ones are 5 and 2 and enjoy Toy Story as well, I was hoping to find a match to a Woody doll we have. This far exceeded my expectations. Unlike the Woody doll which still deviates from the original concept (despite it being the most realistic version I had found to date), Buzz Lightyear only deviates in that he says things from the movies themselves and not just the pre-programmed ones we were introduced too (and I haven't found the Spanish setting). But there is so much more:This toy is made out of HIGH QUALITY plastic. I was expecting it to be much lighter and easier to break. Despite the toy having knee, finger, shoulder, elbow, and hip joints, as well as being able to stand, it does not feel like it will be easily destroyed by my two boys. The cover on Buzz's arm that flips open is probably the most precarious part and even it is think and made well. I'm not nearly as concerned about it breaking as I was when I first saw it actually opened.PROS:- Rugged, well made- Does ALL the things Buzz does (as a toy) in the original movie- Stands on it’s own- Box is also true to the movieCONS:- It is a little hard to press the release button for the wings. HOWEVER, this is part of the durability of the toy. If my kids have to work on their motor skills and hand strength to do it themselves, I’m okay with that. My 5 year old can do it, but 3 year old is still learning.If played with the way my children do, this is a toy that could very well become a beloved heirloom for their children and I LOVE that.
