I LOVE this leash! I needed another one to replace my dog’s and chose amazon so that I could get the color I wanted, since this teal isn’t a common color to find at the pet store. I ended up with so much more than just the color I wanted! This leash is heavier duty than what I’ve had for my dog in the past. Instead of starting out as a flat strap then changing to a skinny cord about a foot into the leash, this leash is a flat strap for the entire length, which is fantastic since my dogs other leashes always ended up knotting and/or catching in the plastic piece eventually over time. This is a comfy leash to hold but it is a heavier leash to hold, which I’m fine with since the quality is heavy duty. My dog is a small-medium size, about 20-22 lbs and he does fine with it, however I can tell that if he was much smaller the weight of the leash would probably be a bit much for him. I do not suggest getting this leash for a very small dog.BONUS - the rubber pop out bowl is great and the little bag holder is super useful also. All in all a great value- much better than what you’ll find at the dog store!

The whole set is great. The collapsible bowl and the poop bag holder are standard. No problems, nice bonus. The little clip thing works, but we don’t use it. The leash however…To start, it’s exactly what I wanted. Great length, the turquoise color is as pictured, and the locking mechanism is helpful. I didn’t expect the length of leash to be a…ribbon. A strong one for sure, but I’ve had smaller retractable leashes that are more rope/cord material. So what’s the problem with the strong ribbon you might be asking? Well, I live outside Portland, Oregon, where it rains 10 months out of the year and that ribbon, understandably, got wet. The dog goes outside, the ribbon gets wet, the dog comes back inside and the ribbon gets coiled back up into the leash. The unforeseen downside is that ribbon has done exactly what fabric does when it gets wet and then wadded up without drying. Like laundry left in the washing machine too long. It now has a sour moldy stink to it.Sure, I suppose the solution is to just thoroughly clean and dry the leaves ribbon and then leave it extended all the time so that it dries in between rain soaked outings, but that defeats the whole purpose of a retractable leash.Other than this, it works great and the quality is wonderful. I suppose if you lived somewhere dry you would have no problems at all.

This is a well made and well packaged retractable leash. This is the second one I have bought because I like it so much. I have had compliments on how nice it is. What I like most, is the locking mechanism for the leash. It's so easy to use and well made. I have had other retractable leashes and end up having problems with the locking mechanism part.What I also like is the collapsible bowl and the poop holder. They too are well made. I feel this is a very good value for everything you get. None of it feels cheaply made. It seems as though care and attention to detail went into this product. I say this because their packaging is so well done and cute. This is why I included the pictures. I believe this company truly cares about their product and what they put into it. I love supporting companies like this.No need to look at any other retractable leashes this is the one to have and that you will be happy with.

Durable. Using with our large 65 pound dog, and continues to hold up. I think we ordered a medium size. The bowel is great for hiking. The poop bag dispenser is easy to use and easy to refill. The only thing we did not like in the beginning was when our dog was a puppy, the leash when unlocked had a pretty strong constant pull to retract and it was too hard for him to pull out to differing lengths. The clip for the collar was also too heavy, so he had a hard time holding his head up after a while, but now he is able to walk on it just fine. Just something to keep in mind for a little dog/puppy. Everything else is great, leash still going strong.

I had the leash for a year and there weren’t much issues besides the occasional tangling. Unfortunately the locking mechanism had worn down and it became dangerous to handle. Especially when it either stuck at the length I locked then couldn’t unlock or the lock itself will just unlock as little tugging had occurred. It was good as long it lasted. So, expect the longevity of the leash is around one year.
