ASICS Women's Gel-Kayano 27 Running Shoes

These shoes are great for everyday use if you run everyday. They typically last about a year and I run about 3 miles a day.The comfort is good. The gel in the bottom of the shoes does provide extra cushioning and support. The fit is comfortable and not too tight in any areas. I do have to double-knot the laces or they come undone while I'm running.I've been wearing Asics for running for years and have always loved this model of the shoe.

These shoes are so comfortable and my feet no longer hurt working on a warehouse floor for 10 hours at a time! These are also wide, which make them even better. The gel-kayano is an amazing shoe! The gel-jadeite is also a great pick, but those do not come in wide. I would say that is the only downfall of Asics is they do not make enough of their top sellers in wide. Other than that, you cannot go wrong choosing this line of shoe for workout, running, working, etc. I will always love a fresh pair of Nike, but those are for style to me. I have date night or a quick shopping trip, I definitely go for style. However, I just got two new pair of Asics, originally just for comfort purposes while working, but I am pleasantly surprised at how cute (and thin) these shoes make my feet look. I will admit they can be quite pricey, but well worth it in terms of comfort and durability. I know these are meant to be running shoes, but they also serve well as working shoes (especially if your job tends to be a workout in itself!) I highly recommend this shoe! My only improvement suggestion is more variety in reference to everyday colors selections. The bright neon colors are not for everybody. Adding more variety in colors would be great. I like my shoes to match what I wear. I would probably have 10 pair of these if they had more natural colors that match my clothing/workout gear! Overall though, I am happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend these to others! Get yourself a pair and your feet will thank you!

These Asics Gel Kayano 27 Running Shoes have literally changed the way I walk. I am a heavy lady (definitely NOT a runner) and desperately needed a good comfortable walking shoe that could address my foot issues so I could start a walking program. I have found the shoes! First off, when I put them on, I thought "Uh oh, these are going to be too small." They seemed very snug, but not uncomfortably so. After taking a few strides, I could tell that snug fit was a plus. My previous "walking shoes" were Skechers and moved around my foot, despite the length and width seeming to fit. I had developed callouses on the outside of my forefoot. My feet always felt "exhausted" after just a short walk. Well not with these babies! I have flat feet, over-pronation, and achilles tendonitis and after a few weeks in these, I haven't been bothered with foot or achilles pain, which can be excruciating. The shoes are firm, but not hard. The arch support is definitely there without feeling like a hard ball under your foot as some "orthotic" shoes can feel (I'm talking about you, Vionic). Very noticeable too is the stability. My gait has improved. It feels smoother, and I feel like I'm not lumbering around when I walk. My footing feels very secure. This isn't my first pair of Asics, I have a cheaper, older model that I use for yard work and they are still quite comfortable, just past their prime. I guess Asics and my feet just fit perfectly.While I was hopeful and frankly nervous with paying $170 for a pair of sneakers, I had no idea what a difference these would make. I plan on buying a couple of the brighter colors (I chose the solid black for starters). I'm not going to lie, I've got a long, long way to go to get fit, but I know I've got the right foundation in the Asics Gel Kayano 27!! Thank you Asics.

Love these for running. They look and feel great. For my feet they take the annoyance out of running for my feet. My feet feel supported and running in these sneakers feels natural for my feet. Now I gotta work on the rest of my body haha.

Comfortable for walking or running, but Asics has changed their fit. These were by go to shoes for years. Now the toe box is bigger. Some reviews noted toe box was too tight but fit me great, now it's too big. Also, seems shorter in length, whereas all my prior Asics were true to size. And as popular and light as the new mesh material is, I prefer the prior more leather or leather-like material. I never found them heavy but I can tell they lasted longer as the material on my new shoes is already showing wear. So sad these are no longer my go to brand.

I bought these shoes for my elderly mother, who over-pronates and who has balance issues. She also is very arthritic. She needed a sturdy supportive shoe with good cushioning and this one fit the bill. We compared her stability in walking in these shoes against the Brooks Glycerin GTS and the Brooks Adrenalin GTS. She did much better in these shoes. The size of these shoes runs a bit small, however. I traced my mom's feet and then measured both the length and width. It turns out that she is a classic size 9 with a regular width. However, it is generally understood that there should be a half to one full size of space at the toe for walkers and runners, so I went up a full size for my mom with these shoes. I would have gone with a 9.5, but many of the reviews on here said these shoes run a bit short and narrow. Taking others' advice, I went up a full size instead and they fit perfectly. We are very pleased with the results.

Me encantaron, el material de primera, se sentían muy cómodos, solo que me quedaron muy justos y los tuve que devolver e intente pedir un número más grande pero no tenían en existencia, el trámite de devolución fue súper rápido y el reembolso también.

J’ai dû retourner l’espadrille car le rose bonbon de la photo était en fait un rose peau…j’ai même retourné voir les photos de vente et je suis encore bien étonnée de la différence…en fait frustrée. En plus j’ai dû payer 26 $ pour les retourner!

I have flat feet and walk a lot and the gel Kayanos are the only shoes I wear.
