I've broken the same ankle twice this year and this strap has helped me move with confidence. The heel pad is a weak point but the design of the brave around my ankle has allowed me to wear comfortable shoes and move more freely. I wish I'd bought this the first time. Highly recommended for recovery post moon/air boot from hospital.

I originally bruised the tendons in the top of my foot but then damaged my ankle joint. This splint was recommended by a friend. It takes a bit of getting used to but the pain relief was marvellous. my only gripe would be that the thin fabric that goes under the heel could be slightly stronger as I wore it out within two weeks. ( Replaced it with a couple of layers of Duct Tape ) Obviously being bulky over the ankle and leg it wouldn't fit in my work boots but found a way around that. After 6 months of pain I was finally able to walk not hobble. Bliss Forgot to say, Don't wear against bare skin or it will chafe. I have sticky out ankle bones even though ankle is swollen. a few strips of micropore, and gauze around calf prevented blisters

Ok so this is a brilliant product and very comfortable. It takes a little setting up to get it fitted nicely as it is for most sizes of leg and both left and right foot. That said, once it is set up it is easy to remove and reattach. There are rubbery sides so the bones on your ankle can poke through without discomfort and nice padding to hold you in place but keep your blood actually flowing.The package comes with some spares as well so if you lose a popper you have another and the heel part that you walk on so if you wear through it can be replaced. Very handy.Overall this is really well made and works very well. You can hardly move your ankle which is exactly what you are aiming for without cutting off your blood flow.

I bought this in desperation after 2 years of not being able to walk without pain because of tendonitis in my ankle and I didn’t expect it to work. It is a bit fiddly to get on right and it does need to be done up as tight as you can manage without stopping the blood flow BUT once on, it is comfortable, supportive and has allowed me to walk quite long distances without significant pain

These are a little frustrating to put on and awkward to get the right tightness. I have tried it twice but the stirrup gave be a big blister on the outside of the foot and I could not get comfortable in it. This is not because I am not used to an item like this as I have been wearing similar items for 20+ years. Unfortunately , as it is a used item I cannot return it. Will be looking for another brace but may go to a specialist shop.

Good item but you will have difficulty putting shoes on with it

I fractured my ankle and found wearing elastic supports to be slightly too tight and uncomfortable. This brace fitted perfectly around my ankle and can be tightened as comfortably as you want. It also secured my ankle reducing the risk of rolling it again.

Looks the part but doesn't give much support or help with pain
