Works well for my hand valve grinding on some old 1600 beetle heads. Gets nice and fine after a minuit of grinding Put a bit on, spin and tap. Clean. Inspect, reapply and go till happy

Working on my motorcycle engine, I found this Permatex valve grinding compound to be quite helpful. It makes smoothing out valve seat work easier and cleaner. The 3 oz container is a perfect size for small tasks. I appreciate how it doesn't create a mess in my garage. It’s a reliable product that does what it’s supposed to with no hassle.

Followed the instructions I found online (removing the wheel covers, swapping the gear situation and putting it back together to reverse the rotation of the rotary mower) Sharpens nicely though I do recommend you use gloves as it does say its a carcinogen and I understand this compound is a bunch of tiny shards of metal, please protect your fingers, you only have one set of hands. I was under the impression that this was a powder that needed to be mixed with water to use (as it suggested a mouth mask and eye protection) but its already a wet paste ready to be smeared on the blade so not much risk of inhaling unless you leave it to dry out. Idk about other uses but for sharpening a rotary blade push mower (non-gas) it works perfectly
