I bought this for my 3 (almost 4) month old kitten Mushroom. It was really easy to put together and it was pretty self explanatory putting on the glass door that we did.Initially the suction cups were good, but I noticed about 3 times where one side came off and the first night we had it, the thing completely fell off (thank god she wasn’t on it), but I continued to try to make it work because she loves it so much.The last time the one side unsuctioned, my boyfriend put it on and applied greater force and it has yet to fall or unstick! She will jump from the floor to the top of the couch to the perch when she gets her zoomies and this thing has been AMAZING!!I definitely recommend it to anyone to try. It took a little finesse, but we’ve been good ever since. I plan on buying a couple more once we get our second kitty.

If it was possible to give more stars, I would, despite my cat being a complete weirdo (he doesn't like catnip ?! Or his huge kitty condo!) who doesn't seem to like it much.I love the supported-from-below aspect of the way this is built, I was worried my new family member could do a face-plant on a support wire and accidentally knock himself out or the perch down. My apartment has huge floor to (2' shy of the 15') ceiling windows, so I wanted a nice, high(ish) spot for him to people/critter-watch. It's nestled in with my plants around it and some kitty grass below. My tiny weirdo only jumps up when I water my plants - he has a strange fascination with water (where did it come from/go? It disappeared! What witchcraft is this crazy lady doing? - nevermind when I take a bath, he stares like I'll drown if he blinks and I feed him so he can't blink lol).Despite him not really using it, it's really well built, easy to assemble, and the suction cups are the coolest/best I've ever seen! I don't know why all things with suction cups don't have this style, I have zero concerns they'll give out before I unscrew them.I'm hoping with a soft bed, I can convince his royal highness to use it, because it really is lovely. The carpet should be enough grip I'm not worried a bed will slip around when he jumps up/down.If your kitty likes window-watching, and you're looking for one to try, this is a good one! If kitty dislikes it, the re-sale value is great (or should be), based on appearance, build, and function (or return it, but I'm stubborn & really like it, so I'll try to get him to use it waaaay past the return window).

UPDATE: A little over 4 months later these have let us down.. For reasons unknown the sucstion cups came loose on both perches and they went crashing to the ground. Repeatedly tried to remount them only for a few hours later they fell again. Turned out the metal frames bent when hitting the floor. My husband tried to straighten them back and we tried mounting the perches again.. didn't work.. The bent frames have rendered them useless. They supposedly came with lifetime garente but the email address to do so doesn't work let alone look like a legit customer service email. (I'm not the only one that has tried it.) WASTE OF $60!ORIGINAL REVIEW: These window perches are great! They easily support my largest cat(15lds) jumping on them. All three cats enjoy them. I've been very happy with my purchase. So much so I've recommended them to others and they have purchased them for their cats.*Note: when installing make sure to press the back of the suction cup firmly with the cup itself while tightening it to the window. If there is any gap between the two parts of the suction cup then it won't hold.

The item arrived on time and well packed. It is nicely made and sturdy. I liked the design, even though the bed sits higher on the window compared to similar products. What was not good was the suction cups. I lost count of how many times I cleaned the window glass (using different products). I followed the instructions and I even had my husband install it a couple times hoping for different results. It didn't matter, the cups would come off even when none of the cats were sitting on it. My cats fell down a few times (both the 6lb and the 12lb). UPDATE. After changing the faulty cup (it came with a spare) and using very very hot water, it finally worked, and now the cat window bed doesn't fall.

Beautiful piece of cat furniture that matches my cat tree! My kitty loves it, and it can handle the force of her jumping on and off it.One note of caution: when I first installed it, I did not follow the instructions to remold the suction cups, so they kept peeling off the window. After cleaning them with alcohol, submerging them in hot water for a few minutes, and then drying off, they applied much better and haven't peeled off since. Also, make sure to leave some room between the hard plastic cups and the suctions cups first. Otherwise, the suction cups won't adhere fully to the window before you tighten the screws, resulting in potential failure!

I absolutely loved the look and design of this cat perch when I first received it! I followed all of the directions for assembly and even some advice from the reviews regarding the suction cups before adhering them to my window (cleaning the window before, rubbing alcohol, & submerging them in warm water untightened). At first, this seemed like a very sturdy product for my cat and she was also obsessed with it until I heard a loud crash in the other room 3 months later. My cat had fallen while on the perch (luckily unharmed) and the suction cups will not stick to my window any longer. I've tried everything, including repeating the steps I initially did to make them sticky and I got nothing out of it. I have attempted to restick it to my window twice now and it has fallen within a few hours every time. I'm really sad because this perch was absolutely perfect for my cat until it put her safety at risk..
