Holy Moly! This Stuff is Good!
I have purchased hundreds, thousands of items off Amazon from beauty products to clothes. This is by far the most impressive item I have ever purchased. 1000 stars. We have a lot of brown furniture from the 70s. I was worried this product would not cover the ugly brown. It is gorgeous. The oxford blue is a gray blue that competes with what you would see new in furniture stores. The paint does not smell, comes off your hands easily, and dries very quickly. It took one coat. It is seriously that good. Do not hesitate. I think I will purchase other colors for other projects.

Great coverage with super smooth finish
When I applied the first coat of paint I was worried that I wouldn't have enough paint to throughly cover my dark brown cabinets. I needn't have worried. The second coat went on like a dream and gave perfect coverage. In fact, I didn't even need to open the second can of paint, and that was for a 12 foot long run of cabinets. It is quite a fiddly job painting the frames if you don't take the doors off of the cabinets, but it's possible as long as you tape off the hinges as recommended. Another warning, take the time to be sure that you have everything taped with masking tape before you begin--all around where the frame meets the cabinet interiors, walls that butt up to the cabinets, every hinge, etc. This paint dries quickly, so you don't want to pour a tray of paint and then have to stop to move anything or to tape something -- as I did when I realized that I need to move the fridge freezer and tape the wall for an end panel. The kit comes with small rollers, but I opted for my favorite paint pad. It gave a flawless, streak-free finish. One more tip, have some glass cleaner on hand to clean the cabinets before painting (as recommended in the information that comes with the kit.). Only small issue I had was where I had filled a couple of dents and dings--when I painted over the filler, it left a matte instead of a satin finish, so maybe I should have used a primer over those areas before painting. I can't speak to durability yet or to how well it cleans. The manufacturer's instructions recommend avoiding harsh chemicals or scouring, which makes sense. After being advised by family not to attempt painting kitchen cabinets without removing all the doors and using a paint sprayer I'm feeling very pleased. Professional looking finish!

The perfect cabinet painting kit
I never write reviews but thought this kit deserved one!! Painting cabinets was something I avoided in our home due to time constraints. But, the color I wanted went on sale so I went for it. 10 hours of sanding, cleaning & painting later - my cabinets look brand new in our older home. Well worth it & the kit came with everything needed.

Great, easy to use, highly recommended
I bought this for quick makeover of our rental apartment cabinets. First thing you should know is this is NOT an "all in one" kit - all it has in it are two small rollers, a paintbrush and the paint itself. You will still need to buy a roller pan, painter's tape, sandpaper, etc. That being said, having painted cabinets with regular latex paint in the past, I am VERY impressed with this product. It goes on extremely smooth - I did the first coat very thin and then did not have time to do the second one for a few days, and I found even the first coat to be extremely durable, and you could not see any of the brush/roller marks AT ALL! As with any paint job, PREP IS EVERYTHING!! MAKE SURE you sand everything carefully and clean up all the dust from sanding and any oily areas. I clearly missed sanding some of the beveled areas on the doors of my cabinets, and the paint was peeling right off in strips with just my finger. Very frustrating. They recommend using 300 grit but I'd probably start with a rougher grit if I had to do it again to make sure the paint really sticks. I just finished the job yesterday, it covered extremely well and smoothly with two thin coats even over light wood cabinets. It really helped outdated cabinets feel much more modern. I will add pics when I get a chance and update as to how they hold up to regular use. I'll be doing the Giani granite DIY to the GREEN formica counters next! Can't WAIT to see that transformation!

Get this!
Turned my ugly wood cabinets beautiful!!! My cabinets look so professional now. This project took about a week with a busy work schedule and painting late at night with my mom. This was so easy and cheap. We just ordered a cabinet de-glosser and used it as step one to avoid sanding.

Turned out AMAZING!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
The media could not be loaded. I decided that ai wanted to update my kitchen, but on a budget. I went back and forth between the celadon )which was my original choice) and the tidal blue. I was worried that the mint would be too bright or just wouldn’t go with the vibe I wanted. As you can see, I went with the celadon and LOVE IT!!This process was super easy to do and I loved that it included everything I needed. I would suggest using foam 4in rollers instead of the one that comes with this because this one just didn’t roll as well as I would have liked. The first day or two after painting, I had to keep going back to touch up paint that came off with my trying to out my doors back on. Now that I am at the recommended 2 week mark for them to cure, I’m more confident about the outcome. Time will tell if they hold up, but I am getting TONS of compliments on how amazing the cabinets look now. I have a NEW KITCHEN! 🎉🎉🎉

Beautiful Color!
We were living in an old house at the time, and my kitchen was disgusting so I ordered this to paint my kitchen cabinets. It is very easy to apply although it does have a strong smell so you will definitely need to open all of your windows. It only took one coat and was pretty effortless with application. It is true to the colour and is a very good product overall. I did not have any issues with shipping or an even text her. I would definitely recommend to somebody who wants to do a cheap upgrade to their home.

Product arrived frozen
I have used this product before and it was great but unfortunately this time I received it frozen and was difficult to apply and the color is totally off. I will have to repaint my cabinets again.

Amazing paint!
I was a little hesitant because the reviews were very 50/50. Needless to say I went for it and I do not regret it one bit. This paint is amazing. Yes they are small cans but I did thin coats like everyone said (3) and still have about half a can left and you see how many cupboards I have and had to do the insides too!I lightly sanded everything, cleaned really could with Krud kutter using a toothbrush for corners and a sponge for the rest. Then cleaned with Windex to get any film off from the cleaner. Then just painted with very thin coats we got away with 3 and no issues at all. No cracks no bubbles nothing. You need to focus more on the prep then anything else!Great product, highly recommended! It took me about 5 days but that's only because I really took my time with prep and didn't wanna rush in-between paint coats

Go for it, this stuff rocks.
This stuff isn't like any paint I've seen before. You use so very little and get very good coverage! I think I will finish my kitchen with only having used one can. The new kitchen in a weekend thing, probably not unless you have perfectly flat cupboards. I spent 2 days washing, sanding and washing again, but my cupboards have routed detail that was difficult to sand and had to be done by hand. I've applied it to previously painted laminate and to un-prepped laminate. Both went on fine.THE EARL GREY COLOR IS MORE BLUE THAN EXPECTED. I thought it would be more dove/brown grey. In our case this was perfectly fine, maybe better than the dove color for our needs. It's not as blue as their blue paint of course, but keep this in mind when making your selectionA few notes:-instructions say use 300grit sand paper. Which isn't a thing. We used 320. Don't over do the sanding or use coarser grit as the texture will show-A little goes a long way on the brush. You want to avoid leaving drips, which the paint is prone to. You're going to need way less than you think you do. Go easy- if you get drips, which you probably will, gently sand them flush with the 320grit before the next coat-the paint does not like to stay mixed. Stir often or it'll leave a crinkle texture when it dries.-paint does not like to dry of it's in a puddle, or pan. I left it uncovered in the tray and it had zero skin and mixed right back up between coats. Once it's spread over a surface it dries quickly.-included roller is much bigger than a mini roller, so plan on a full size tray.- roller is very high knap/fluffy. I used similar ones of traditional mini roller size and they worked fine. The fluffy roller means it gets less effective the longer you use it, so don't be afraid to swap out.- roller puts paint on with lots of bubbles. They pop themselves and dry perfectly smooth, so don't panic.-if you apply paint with the brush thickly it'll leave the brush strokes in the paint. Try to roller over as much of the brush strokes as possible for a smooth finish.-suggest wearing gloves only because getting this stuff off your nails is awful. Hope it sticks to the cupboards this well!We painted 20 cupboards/drawer fronts plus under sides of upper cupboards and the toe kick and trim with two coats using one can of paint. AMAZING! The results look like it's been sprayed, not hand painted. It covered multiple colors without issue. In sum, given the price of this kit, you're getting excellent value. I'm completely shocked to be honest. I will happily recommend this brand to anyone!
