This one is like no other tea infuser. Sturdy make, innovative design and it works amazingly well.

I have a few different styles of looseleaf steeper, and a constant annoyance for me is cleaning out the wet leaf stuck to them after a steeping. Of course you can blast it out under the tap, but it makes a mess of the sink and it risks clogging the drain, so as far as I'm concerned the more I can empty out into the compost/waste bin, the better. The sphere design of this is optimal for that -- the minimum amount of surface area for the leaf to stick, with just enough volume to contain leaf for one or two cups of tea. It is the easiest to clean of any of my steepers. I also think it's neat to be able to swirl it around the cup, to extract the flavour a bit more quickly and thoroughly.The only tradeoff is that this sheds flecks of tea leaf into the cup a lot more frequently than any other steeper I've used. That's far from the end of the world, but my preference is for a clean cup of tea. I know some of you won't care, though, you're probably the same sickos who like pulpy orange juice.
