Artkalia PL-100 Transparent Nomad Lamp, White

I really wanted to like this light, but it has two problems that need to be fixed. The first is the light color. This is not a warm-white. I would guess it is more in the 4000K instead of 2700K color temperature and that gives it a harsh, blue, white light. Companies do this because it is easier and cheaper with LED's but it gives LED lights a bad name.Second, the light turns on/off and changes brightness with taps. Nice thought and it works great as long as you don't set it down on a table. Then every tap on the table changes the light's level. Really annoying.Artkalia is supposed to be all about design, but they didn't get it right with the PL-100 - a shame given the nice packaging and look of the device.

Needs a good 24-48 hrs to fully charge, so getting the full benefit. Bought for my mother who is now on her own & was really worried about forthcoming power cuts, that happen every winter!!! Now she isn't as bothered, as this lantern comes on as soon as the power goes off & lasts for hrs, I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone.

Rubbish. Never worked properly and got slung out very quickly.

Great looking designed lamp but did hold its charge, only lasted an hour so sent it back to Amazon without a problem.

Although these lights are expensive they seemed a good investment, however I have had two of them and they do not charge up. The 80 hours life refers to the light at the lowest brightness this is less than a dim candle.I have spoken to the company but they were not very helpful. I suggest you stay well clear of this product.
