I am an electrical engineer in the manufacturing industry. In my line of work I use these military style aviation connectors they tend to cost 5 times as much as the one on this page in my case the 14P 50A 500V waterproof panel connector. I would not place 50A nor 500V on this connector since I highly doubt it would stand up to 50amps and I would not trust something this cheap for something that dangerous. If you have an application that uses voltages above 50 I suggest finding a connector that is UL listed. which this most certainly is not. But for DC under 50V and 10 or 20 amps it is more then good enough. I needed a multi pole connector for a scissor lift I was repairing which is 24VDC and fused at 10A. The construction for this connector is impressive at the price. it is well painted and fully de-burred. It is NOT WATERPROOF it has no seals to stop water getting in the connector. I removed a star for this. In my case I didn't need it to be so it did not effect my use.
